TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR PATIENTS DURING STATIONARY AND MOBILE ECLS/ECMO THERAPY
The present disclosure relates to a system for temperature management for patients in stationary and mobile ECLS and/or ECMO therapy, with a disposable and a fluid circuit, wherein the disposable comprises a reservoir or bag provided with at least one supply line and a drain line, further comprising a pumping unit element as part of the disposable, by means of which liquid in the reservoir or bag can be pumped through the fluid circuit, wherein in the mounted state of the system all fluid-guiding parts of the system are completely encapsulated and separated from intracorporeal and extracorporeal blood circuit of the patient undergoing the ECLS and/or ECMO therapy.
PUMP FOR IMMERSION WITHIN A FLUID RESERVOIR
A pump is provided for immersion in a fluid reservoir, such as a pit or lagoon containing liquid manure, from a position at an edge of the reservoir. The pump may be adapted for connection to a farm vehicle, such as a tractor, positioned at the edge of the reservoir. The pump comprises an extensible body, fluid conduit and drive means in order that a length of the pump may be varied in order to accommodate a variety of reservoir fluid heights. In addition, the pump may be pivotable relative to at least a portion of a frame in order that the entrance angle may be adjusted. The pump may comprise a housing with an inlet and an outlet, the outlet in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. An impeller within the housing may direct fluid from the inlet to the outlet in the housing.

Systems and methods for energy optimization for converterless motor-driven pumps
A converterless motor-driven pump system includes an off-grid prime mover, an electric power generator driven by the off-grid prime mover to generate a power output, an electric submersible pump (ESP) system, and a system controller. The ESP system includes a motor coupled to the electric power generator to receive the power output, and a pump driven by the motor to pump a fluid. The system controller includes a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the system controller to control the off-grid prime mover as a function of an operational parameter of the ESP system to maintain a desired operating point of the pump, and control the electric power generator to reduce the power output generated by the electric power generator while the desired operating point of the pump is maintained.
