CONTROL DEVICE FOR FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
A control device is applied to a fuel supply system including a fuel pump that rotates an impeller in a housing and pumps fuel from a fuel tank and a fuel pipe in which fuel discharged from the fuel pump flows. The control device controls the fuel pump. The control device includes an execution device and a storage device that stores a program of a process which is performed by the execution device. In the control device, the execution device performs a coping process of increasing an amount of operation of the impeller when the impeller is deformed and interference with the housing is detected in comparison with a case in which the interference is not detected.
Sump pump system and control methodology therefor
A sump pump system includes a plurality of sump pumps adapted to be disposed within a crock. The sump pump system also includes a plurality of water level sensors adapted to be disposed within the crock. Each of the plurality of water level sensors generates water level signals. The sump pump system further includes a plurality of electronic controllers. Each of the plurality of water level sensors is connected to each of the plurality of electronic controllers, and each of the plurality of electronic controllers is connected to operate each of the plurality of sump pumps in response to the water level signals.
Parallel circulation pump coordinating control assembly
A circulation pump assembly (22) includes an electrical drive motor (10) and an electronic control device (12) controlling the drive motor (10). The control device (12) is configured for the speed control of the drive motor (10) according to a control schema (I, II, III). The control device (12) includes a detection function (42) which is configured to detect a condition variable representing an operating condition, from a parallel flow path (16, 18, 20) with a second circulation pump assembly (22). The control device (12) is also configured such that it can change the control schema (I, II, III) on the basis of a condition variable detected by the detection function (42). Further an arrangement of at least two such circulation pump assemblies (22) and a method for the control of such two circulation pump assemblies (22) are provided.
Diagnostic apparatus for fuel pump
A diagnostic apparatus for a fuel pump diagnoses the state of a fuel pump based on: a correlation between a pump rotational speed that is a rotational speed of the motor and fuel pressure that is pressure of the fuel discharged from the fuel pump; and an initial correlation that is the correlation in an initial actuation period from when the fuel pump is energized for the first time to when a specified period has elapsed.
Pump control method and pressure-boosting device
A pump control method for controlling at least one booster pump (4). The method includes switching on the booster pump when a booster pump outlet pressure (24) drops to a lower limit value (26), and switching off the booster pump when the booster pump outlet pressure (24) reaches an upper limit value (28). The lower limit value (26) is reduced in a case, in which the maximal outlet pressure (24a) which can be reached on operation of the booster pump (4) lies below the lower limit value (26). A pressure-boosting device is also provided with which the pump control method can be carried out.
METHOD FOR DETECTING A PUMP OR MIXER OPERATING IN PART LIQUID AND PART GAS
A method for detecting the occurrence of snoring during operation of a machine configured for transporting liquid. The machine includes an impeller and an electric motor, operatively connected to a control unit. The method includes operating the machine in order to transport liquid on the condition that the instantaneous power of the machine is directed towards a set power level. The instantaneous power of the machine is allowed to fluctuate within a set power level range defined upwards by a max-factor times the set power level and defined downwards by a min-factor times the set power level. The method further includes determining the machine is snoring by the control unit when the instantaneous power of the machine is below a snoring level equal to a snoring-factor times the set power level by monitoring at least one of the operational parameters of power, current, or power factor of the machine.
Co-ordinated sensorless control system
A method and system for co-ordinating control of a plurality of sensorless devices. Each device includes a communication subsystem and configured to self-detect one or more device properties, the device properties resulting in output having one or more output properties. The method includes: detecting inputs including the one or more device properties of each device, correlating, for each device, the detected one or more device properties to the one or more output properties, and co-ordinating control of each of the devices to operate at least one of their respective device properties to co-ordinate one or more output properties for the combined output to achieve a setpoint. In some example embodiments, the setpoint can be fixed, calculated or externally determined.
CENTRIFUGAL PUMP OPERATION
A method for controlling a hydraulic pumping system that includes a centrifugal pump operating at a functional point. The method uses parameters of the centrifugal pump at the functional point and end-of-lines characteristics of the centrifugal pump to determine an updated Net Positive Suction Head Required, NPSH.sub.r, value.
BILGE PUMP SYSTEMS
A pump system comprises a bilge pump powered by an electric motor and a controller controlling the electric motor. The controller is configured to determine if the pump system is malfunctioning. In response to determining that the pump system is malfunctioning, the controller is configured to control the electric motor according to a predetermined routine configured to rectify the malfunction. A pump system comprises a first bilge pump including a first electric motor configured to power the first bilge pump and a first controller controlling the first electric motor and a second bilge pump including a second electric motor configured to power the second bilge pump and a second controller controlling the second electric motor. The first and second controllers are in signal communication with one another.
Dual body variable duty performance optimizing pump unit
A dual pump unit having a pair of pumps that provide parallel hydraulic paths, and are configured to operate concurrently in opposite rotational directions. The dual pump unit has a sealed casing which includes a suction flange, two volutes in hydraulically parallel configuration, and a discharge flange. The pair of pumps are located within a respective volute of the casing and, in an example, are radially inline and horizontally inline. The casing may include a flattened bottom. Each pump may include a touchscreen for configuration of the respective pump. The pumps are controllable to circulate a circulating medium to collectively provide output to source a load.
