To obtain a vacuum pump which appropriately performs temperature management of a gas flow path and reduces restrictions on a gas flow rate attributable to the temperature management. A cooling tube performs temperature adjustment of a gas flow path. A first temperature sensor is arranged at a position closer to the gas flow path than the cooling tube, a second temperature sensor is arranged at a position closer to the cooling tube than the gas flow path, and a control apparatus controls, based on a sensor signal of the first temperature sensor and a sensor signal of the second temperature sensor, (an on-off valve of) the cooling tube so that a temperature of the gas flow path approaches a predetermined gas flow path target temperature.

Method for pressure and temperature control of a fluid in a series of cryogenic compressors
10215183 · 2019-02-26 · ·

A method for pressure and temperature control of fluid in a series of cryogenic compressors. An actual speed for each compressor and an actual inlet pressure and actual inlet temperature at entry are determined. The maximum speed for each compressor and a desired inlet pressure for the first compressor is provided. A speed index for each compressor is determined from the maximum speed and actual speed of each compressor. A proportional value is determined from the deviation of the actual and desired inlet pressure. A priority value is determined from the smaller of the proportional value and the smallest speed index. A desired inlet temperature for the first compressor and a desired speed for each compressor are determined from the priority value. The actual inlet temperature is adjusted to the determined desired inlet temperature and the actual speed for each compressor is adjusted to the determined desired speed.

LIQUID-FEED-TYPE GAS COMPRESSOR

An oil-feed-type air compressor includes a compressor main body driven by an electric motor, a separator that separates the oil from compressed air delivered from the compressor main body, an oil supply system that supplies the oil separated by the separator to working chambers of the compressor main body, an oil cooler that is disposed in the oil supply system and cools the oil by using cooling air generated by a cooling fan, and a controller. The controller stops the electric motor and the cooling fan when the continuation time of no-load operation has reached a predetermined value. Further, the controller predicts the return timing at which the electric motor is restarted, on the basis of a sensing history of the delivery-side pressure sensor, and predicts the delivery-side temperature of the compressor main body at the return timing.
