A ceiling fan is provided. The ceiling fan includes one or more fan blades. The ceiling fan further includes a motor. The motor is operatively coupled to the one or more fan blades. The motor is configured to drive rotation of the one or more fan blades. The ceiling fan further includes a light kit. The light kit includes a panel. The panel has an edge extending between a top surface of the panel and a bottom surface of the panel. The light kit further includes at least one light source positioned to illuminate the edge.

Fan assembly

A fan assembly including a base, a fan, a light-emitting unit, and a lighting effect component is provided. The fan is rotatably disposed above the base, and includes a central part and multiple blades extending outwards from the central part, and each of the blades has a top surface away from the base. The light-emitting unit is disposed on the base and located between the base and the central part of the fan. The lighting effect component is disposed on the base and surrounds the light-emitting unit. A projection of the lighting effect component projected onto the base is greater than a projection of the fan projected onto the base. A height of the lighting effect component protruding from the base is less than a distance between the top surface of one of the blades and the base. The lighting effect component includes an inclined inner surface.

A ceiling fan for a space is provided. The ceiling fan can include a first communication interface configured to provide communications between the ceiling fan and a plurality of peripheral devices over a local network. The ceiling fan can further include a second communication interface configured to provide communications between the ceiling fan and an external network. The ceiling fan can further include one or more control devices configured to provide one or more control signals to control operation of one or more of the peripheral devices.

The outer shell and the inner shell cooperatively define a receiving space; a plurality of fan assemblies. Each fan assembly is received in the receiving space and connected to the inner shell and the outer shell. The inner shell defines a plurality of air inlets, located near and facing towards the neck. At least a part of the receiving space serves as an air duct communicating with the air inlets. Each fan assembly corresponds to the air inlets. Each fan assembly is configured to intake air from an outside of the neck fan through the air inlets and to further drive the air to flow into the air duct.

The shell has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. Each of the first side and the second side defines air inlets. At least one of the first side and the second side defines air outlets. The shell further defines a receiving space, and the receiving space includes an air duct communicating with the air inlets and outlets. The fan assembly is received in the receiving space and configured to drive the air to flow from the air inlets of both sides, through the air duct, reaching the air outlets.

FAN ASSEMBLY FOR DISPLAYING AN IMAGE

Apparatus and methods for displaying an image by a rotating structure are provided. The rotating structure can comprise blades of a fan. The fan can be a cooling fan for an electronics device such as an augmented reality display. In some embodiments, the rotating structure comprises light sources that emit light to generate the image. The light sources can comprises light-field emitters. In other embodiments, the rotating structure is illuminated by an external (e.g., non-rotating) light source.
