The present invention relates to a sealing system for a pump configured to pressurize a volatile liquid, such as liquid ammonia. The sealing system (2) includes a stuffing box (35) forming a barrier chamber (30) and a pump-side seal chamber (43), a mechanical seal (20) arranged in the barrier chamber (30), and a barrier-gas supply system (32) for supplying a barrier gas into the barrier chamber (30). The barrier gas has a pressure higher than a pressure of the volatile liquid in the pump-side seal chamber (43). The pump-side seal chamber (43) is located between an impeller (7) of the pump (1) and the mechanical seal (20). The barrier-gas supply system (32) includes a pressure control valve (50) configured to maintain a constant difference between pressure in the barrier chamber (30) and pressure in the pump-side seal chamber (43).

The inner panel includes a slope that is located rearward of the radiator, slants with respect to aright-and-left direction of the straddled vehicle, is configured to lead the air blown out from the lateral blowing port to the opening in the side cover, and divides the accommodation space.

A motor vehicle pump arrangement includes a pumping unit and a mounting arrangement. The pumping unit has a substantially cylindrical pumping unit housing and at least one support protrusion which radially protrudes from the pumping unit housing. The mounting arrangement mounts the pumping unit to a motor vehicle mounting structure corresponding thereto. The mounting arrangement has a ring-shaped pump support body. The pump support body radially surrounds and supports the pumping unit and is attachable to the motor vehicle mounting structure. An axial side of the pump support body includes a castellated structure having axially extending merlons and protrusion receptacles. One protrusion receptacle is arranged between two adjacent merlons. The support protrusion engages with at least one of the protrusion receptacles.

The present invention is directed to an outdoor blower that is capable of safely releasing any electrostatic charge that builds up in the blower. During the operation of the blower, electric charge builds up in the housing and components of the blower as particles in the air are moved through the blower. The blower includes a wire contact in the handle that is electrically connected to various other components in the blower. As electric charge is built up in the blower, it can be passed to the wire contact, which is graspable by a user, who acts as a ground and is able to release any charge that builds up.

The adapter: has a housing defining a recess, a rotor in the recess and an operative position; and is adapted, when operatively positioned: for rotation of the rotor upon rotation of the drive hub. The disposable pump has: a housing having a pair of sides and a void, one of the sides defining an intake and a port, the intake communicating with a center of the void and the port communicating with a void periphery; an impeller in the void; and an operative position adjacent the adapter. The disposable pump is adapted, when operatively positioned, for rotation upon rotation of the drive hub and consequent rotation of the rotor, to draw water through the intake and eject water through the one or more ports.
