Fan motor

A fan motor for a vacuum cleaner includes a motor mount defining a cooling flow path inlet, an impeller, an impeller cover defining an air inlet, an air discharge opening defined at the motor mount and configured to discharge air to an outer space of the motor mount, and a cooling flow path outlet defined vertically above the motor mount. The cooling flow path inlet is configured to introduce air from the outer space of the motor mount into an inner space of the motor mount to cool the motor part, and the cooling flow path outlet is configured to discharge air from the inner space of the motor mount toward a space that is defined between the impeller and the air discharge opening based on the space between the impeller and the air discharge opening having a lower pressure than the inner space of the motor mount.

Provided is a vacuum pump having a stator disc having a divided structure, in which gaps or misalignments that occur between connection surfaces at which the divided structure is connected are reduced. In a turbo-molecular pump according to this embodiment, a mating relationship between a stator disc and a stator member for alignment (center-alignment) is opposite from that of the related art. Specifically, in a structure in which a base and the stator disc are fitted together, center alignment (positioning/centering) is performed through a structure in which an outer peripheral surface of the stator disc is held (restrained from an outer side) by an inner peripheral surface of the base to be connected thereto. Further, the mating structure of the stator disc includes an integral component. Moreover, the mating position of a stator blade and the mating position of the stator disc having a Siegbahn structure are provided separately.

An air filtration system is described that is suited for CBRN and ColPro applications, and has an integrated inertial particle separator (IPS) and scavenge fan blower as a pre-dust/particle filter, a variable speed fan blower, and a filter housing that mounts two gas-particulate filter sets. The variable speed fan blower, managed by a motor control unit and motor speed algorithm, automatically adjusts its speed to maintain constant air flow regardless of its altitude.

System component carrier with ejector

A component carrier includes a baseboard, two sidewalls, and an ejector. The two sidewalls extend from opposite sides of the baseboard. The ejector includes a side plate, a handle, and a tab. The side plate is positioned in proximity to a first sidewall of the two sidewalls of the component carrier. The handle extends from a first end of the side plate in a first direction that is generally perpendicular to the side plate. The tab is positioned in proximity to the baseboard, and extends from a second opposing end of the side plate in a second direction that is generally perpendicular to the side plate and opposite to the first direction, the tab coupled to a first connector extending from the baseboard. The baseboard includes a first opening such that a portion of the tab of the ejector is configured to directly contact the electronic component therethrough.

There is provided a nozzle for a fan assembly. The nozzle comprises an air inlet, a first air outlet for emitting an air flow and a second air outlet for emitting an air flow, the first and second air outlets together defining an aggregate air outlet of the nozzle, a single internal air passageway extending between the air inlet and the first and second air outlets, and a valve for controlling an air flow from the air inlet to the first and second air outlets. The valve comprises one or more valve members that are moveable to adjust the size of the first air outlet relative to the size of the second air outlet while keeping the size of the aggregate air outlet of the nozzle constant, and wherein the air outlets are oriented towards a convergent point.

A blower includes a housing, a fan, a motor, and a speed regulator assembly including a switch for controlling the motor operation, a control member, and an actuating member both enabled to control the switch. The actuating member can move between an off state and an on state. The actuating member can move to a predefined limit position. The rotational speed of the motor corresponding to the predefined limit position is a predefined rotational speed. When the actuating member is in the off state, the motor stops running. When the actuating member is in the on state, the motor rotates. The control member has at least a first control state and a second control state. In the second control state, the motor runs at a maximum rotational speed. In the first control state, the motor runs at an intermediate speed lower than the maximum rotational speed.
