With this apparatus, an interaction taking place between the water stream and individual paddles of the paddle wheel is optimized.

The sidewall is disposed on the base plate between the base plate and the top plate. A flow channel is between the impeller and the sidewall. The air deflectors are directly connected to the base plate and the top plate, and disposed toward an air outlet and sequentially at different radial positions outwardly from the sidewall along a forward circumferential direction toward an air outlet with respect to the impeller to sequentially expand the flow channel outwardly in a radial direction at different circumferential positions along the forward circumferential direction with respect to the impeller. The airflow entry tunnels are formed by the air deflectors between the base plate and the top plate.

A vibration-proofed fan frame includes a housing and a base surrounded by the housing. A hollow tube is arranged on the base and has the rotary connection with an impeller of the heat dissipation fan. The base includes a disc and a plurality of ribs extending outwards from periphery of the disc. The fan frame further includes a buffer member within the structural interconnections between the disc and the housing. The buffer member includes first elements. The first elements are embedded in the disc. A heat dissipation fan having the fan frame described is also presented.

The propeller-rotor assembly has two or more propeller blades with distal ends opposite the axis of the propeller-rotor assembly to which magnets are attached. The device can also have a tether assembly for anchoring the generator device in a moving fluid stream and positioning the generator device so that the movement of fluid stream through the generator device causes the propeller-rotor assembly to rotate and, thereby, through interaction with the stator, to generate the induced electrical power. The generator device can be portable and easily deployed by a single user.

A rotor which comprises at least one blade and at least one fluid routing device that is mechanically connected to one of the blades so that a fluid inlet thereof is placed in a lateral edge of the blade. The fluid routing device has a continuous channel with an inlet facing the opposite direction of rotation of the blades and an outlet. The continuous channel is sized and shaped to conduct fluid passing via the inlet. The fluid routing device includes a flow directing element that is mechanically connected to the outlet so as to direct the conducted fluid to adjust fluid flow in or on the mechanically connected blade.
