BEARING ARRANGEMENT OF A WIND TURBINE
Bearing arrangement of a wind turbine, including a bearing with an outer ring and an inner ring and a lubrication fluid provided between both rings, and at least one sealing means arranged at each side of the bearing for sealing the gap between the outer and the inner ring, whereby each sealing means is fixed to one ring and contacts the other ring with a flexible lip-like sealing element, wherein a pressure device for at least temporarily providing a gas overpressure in the sealed gap for increasing the contact load of the lip-like sealing element to the ring is provided.
NACELLE FOR A WIND TURBINE
A nacelle for a wind turbine includes: a nacelle housing; a rotor hub; and a rotor bearing for bearing the rotor hub on the nacelle housing, wherein the rotor bearing has at least one inner ring element and at least one outer ring element, wherein at least one oil-lubricated sliding bearing element is formed between the inner ring element and the outer ring element. In the nacelle housing and/or in the rotor hub, a lubricating oil sump is formed in such a manner for receiving a lubricating oil for the sliding bearing element. The lubricating oil sump can be filled with lubricating oil up to a lubricating oil level, wherein at least a section of the rotor bearing is arranged in the lubricating oil sump vertically below the lubricating oil level.
YAW BEARINGS FOR A WIND TURBINE
A gliding yaw bearing system (20) for use in a wind turbine comprising a first bearing assembly configured for being attached to a tower (2) of the wind turbine, a second bearing assembly configured for being attached to a nacelle (4) of the wind turbine, an upwind section of the second bearing assembly is different from a downwind section of the second bearing assembly. Wind turbines, specifically direct drive wind turbines, comprising gliding yaw bearings are also disclosed.
Scroll compressor including bushing mounted on eccentric shaft containing cylindrical and auxiliary weight portions and balancer disposed above annular rotor remote from back pressure chamber
A scroll compressor includes a balancer that rotates integrally with a rotary shaft. A bushing includes a cylindrical portion and an auxiliary weight portion. The auxiliary weight portion is arranged on the outer side of the cylindrical portion. The fitting hole is provided at a position where a moment about the eccentric shaft generated by a centrifugal force acting on the movable scroll due to rotation of the rotary shaft and a moment about the eccentric shaft generated by a centrifugal force acting on the auxiliary weight portion due to rotation of the rotary shaft are in the opposite directions. As viewed in the axial direction of the rotary shaft, the center of gravity of the bushing is located on the same side of a straight line including the center of the cylindrical portion and the center of the rotary shaft as the center of the eccentric shaft.
Bearing Compression Strap
A tensioning arrangement for a bearing ring, which introduces a compressive force towards a rotational centre of the bearing ring, to prevent the bearing ring distorting as a shaft supported by the bearing turns. The tensioner arrangement includes a strap and a tensioner. The strap has a connector at each end, and tensioner has an element for connecting to the connectors. The tensioner also has an element for applying tension to the strap. In use, the strap is arranged around the bearing ring and a circumferential length of the strap in contact with the bearing ring is reduced, thereby applying compressive force to the bearing ring.
MODEL-BASED METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING THE CONDITION OF A SLIDING BEARING, PARTICULARLY FOR WIND TURBINES
A method for monitoring a condition of a sliding bearing operated with lubricating oil for a rotating component includes calculating, by a control unit as an output variable of a sliding bearing model, a calculated value of a minimum gap thickness of the sliding bearing. The calculated value is calculated by orbit analysis from at least one physical sliding bearing model to which at least a rotational speed of the rotating component, a bearing load, and a temperature of the sliding bearing are supplied as input variables. The method further includes measuring, with at least one sensor, a minimum gap thickness to provide a measured value of the minimum gap thickness, and comparing the measured value of the minimum gap thickness with the calculated value of the minimum gap thickness for the purpose of adjustment.
BEARING HOUSING
A bearing housing is configured as an end-side cover for a nacelle of a fluid-flow power plant and includes a cylindrical section having an interior and a bearing unit in the interior. The bearing unit includes at least one rolling-element bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring rotatably disposed with respect to each other about a bearing rotational axis and a plurality of rolling elements between the rings. A pressure line of the bearing intersects the bearing rotational axis at a first angle. An angled section of the housing extends from the cylindrical section of the housing at a second angle that is related to, and preferably substantially equal to, the first angle.
CONDITION MONITORING SYSTEM
A condition monitoring system includes a monitoring terminal, an acceleration sensor, and a data processor. The data processor calculates a diagnostic parameter from data measured by the acceleration sensor, determines a degree of damage to a bearing or a gear included in a wind turbine generator based on the diagnostic parameter, and controls the monitoring terminal to show information indicating a degree of suppression of electric power generated by the wind turbine generator in accordance with the degree of damage to the bearing or the gear.
Wind turbine having a multi-stage magnetic transmission
A wind turbine including a rotor blade hub, a generator, and a magnetic transmission which is connected at the drive side to the rotor blade hub and at the driven side to the generator. The magnetic transmission is in the form of a multi-stage, in particular two-stage, magnetic transmission.
Bearing assembly and adjustment screw for adjusting the bearing clearance
A bearing assembly for supporting a rotor in a fixed housing includes multiple slide bearing segments, each having a slide bearing body supported against a sliding surface. In the region of each slide bearing segment, the bearing clearance between the respective slide bearing body and the sliding surface is adjustable by an adjustment screw, each adjustment screw having an outer thread via which the screw can be screwed into a recess having an inner thread, each adjustment screw having a groove delimited on both sides by adjustment screw sections. A clamping screw extends through the adjustment screw sections and also through the groove, the adjustment screw sections can be clamped by the clamping screw, whereby each adjustment screw can be secured in the respective recess.
