SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF UNATTENDED TREATMENT OF A SUBJECT'S HEAD OR NECK

In accordance with various aspects of the present teachings, systems and methods for applying treatment energy, e.g., electromagnetic radiation such as laser radiation in the visible and near infrared wavelengths, to body areas having bulges and fat deposits, loose skin, pain, acne and/or wounds. In some aspects, the systems and methods can enable relatively lengthy treatments to be performed by having the practitioner set-up and/or start the treatment, thereafter allowing the treatment to proceed safely and effectively without the continued presence of the practitioner.

Apparatus and methods of controlled therapeutic modulation of an immune response by an immune system of a patient. UV radiation is applied to the skin of a patient for a predetermined time period or dose. The application of UV radiation is repeated for the predetermined time or dose or for a modified predetermined time period or dose based on patient feedback after applying for the predetermined time period or dose, multiple times, wherein each repetition is performed after a predetermined rest period has passed. The patient is tested after at least one session of application of UV radiation and levels of one or more indicators read by the test are compared to levels that were established as baseline levels from a test taken before the initial application of UV radiation. The treatments are discontinued when a predetermined differential threshold between retesting levels and baseline levels in at least one indicator has been met, or for a predetermined number of times, whichever occurs first.

STOMATITIS TREATMENT DEVICE
20220040495 · 2022-02-10 ·

A stomatitis treatment device which is equipped with a light emitting means inside a housing to enable inflammations on the roof of the mouth and the upper side of the tongue to be treated, and to which a coupling module is attached to allow inflammations occurring on the lower side of the bottom of the mouth, etc. to be treated, is proposed. The stomatitis treatment device allows the roof of the mouth, the tongue, and the bottom of the mouth to be simultaneously irradiated with light for treatment by attaching and detaching the coupling module to and from the housing having the cell regeneration lamp therein, and thus can be used by patients having severe stomatitis with multiple lesions.

WAVELENGTH CONVERSION DEVICE
20210402203 · 2021-12-30 ·

A wavelength conversion device disclosed adopts a drive gear and driven gear as a main transmission structure, and disposes optical fiber plugs at a center of the driven gear. When a central shaft of the driven gear is unmovable, the rotation of the drive gear will drive the driven gear to rotate, and the rotation of driven gear will drive the optical fiber insertion rod to move up and down, thereby completing an insertion-extraction operation of the optical fiber insertion rod. When the central shaft of the driven gear is movable, i.e., when the optical fiber plugging rod is completely above the baseplate, the driven gear is locked with the optical fiber plug and thus they both cannot be rotated about their own axis, the driven gear will drive the fiber displacement plate to rotate along the drive gear under the action of the drive gear, thereby realizing the rotational translation of the optical fiber plugs, and reaching the switching wavelengths of laser at the optical fiber output interface. The wavelength conversion device is simple and easy for ordinary medical personnel to operate, thereby promoting the development of laser therapeutic instruments in the medical field.
