Flavored Non-Fructose Compositions and Methods for Negating Dehydration
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to ingredients, formulations, methods of manufacture and use of an oral rehydration solution (“ORS”) in the prevention and treatment of dehydration in humans. More specifically, invention embodiments relate to flavored electrolyte drink mixtures that relieve the dehydrating effects caused by travel, exercise, over-indulgence of toxic substances, and various illnesses in individual subjects. An ORS embodiment of the present invention restores fluid and electrolyte balance in humans as fast and as effectively as IV therapy, and thereby reduces the incidence of dehydration in human populations as well as rehydrating individuals in circumstances where IV therapy is not practical or wanted. The disclosed ORS therapies and packs may be used in conjunction with IV therapy as a multi-part strategy to allow hospitals to lower patient re-admission rates, lower staffing needs, give outpatient self-therapy to treatments prescribed outside of the hospital environment, and thus lower treatment and process costs while not reducing system or treatment efficacy.
CONSUMABLE ELECTROLYTE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates generally to consumable electrolyte compositions, and more specifically to such compositions that contain high concentrations of potassium for alleviation of muscle cramping.

NON-THERAPEUTIC METHODS FOR MAINTAINING A HEALTHY BODY WEIGHT OR LOSING BODY WEIGHT
The invention relates to a non-therapeutic method for maintaining a healthy body weight or losing body weight, in a subject, wherein the non-therapeutic method comprises the step of administering 2′-fucosyllactose and resistant starch, and wherein the subject has a lean weight.
COMPOSITION FOR MAINTAINING OR IMPROVING ORAL IMMUNE FUNCTION
It is a composition comprising young barley grass, used for promoting salivary IgA secretion, maintaining or improving oral immune function, or mucosal immune function, or preventing or alleviating upper airway infection.
WIDGETLESS CANNED NITROGEN INFUSED BEVERAGES
Disclosed herein are non-alcoholic nitrogen infused beverages and method for producing such beverages. The processes described herein comprise producing a mixed gas beverage supported with a foaming agent. Liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide are added to the beverage, with the addition of a foaming agent, such as soapbark extract. In some embodiments, this process provides a nitrogen infused beverage with foaming and cascading capabilities that are equivalent to a nitro experience delivered through a widget can, without the need for the widget or the use of nitrous oxide.

A PROBIOTIC-FERMENTED MACA COMPOSITION AND A METHOD FOR PREPARING THE COMPOSITION AND USE OF THE COMPOSITION
Provided are a probiotic-fermented maca composition, a preparation method therefor, and use thereof. The composition is prepared from maca, fructus lycii and fructus rubi by milling, water extraction, enzymolysis and fermentation by Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus, and can be used for preparing foods, healthcare products or beverages for improving fatigue tolerance and sexual function.
DIETARY FIBER
Provided is a dietary fiber characterized in that bitterness and unpleasant aftertaste are restrained. The dietary fiber has terminal sugars and is characterized in that the ratio of aldoses relative to the total of the terminal sugars is 10% or less. Such a dietary fiber may be, for example, indigestible dextrin, polydextrose or the like. The dietary fiber may be used as a food additive (for example, a beverage additive).
NOVEL ENTEROPATHOGENIC E. COLI BACTERIOPHAGE ESC-CHP-2 AND USE THEREOF FOR INHIBITING PROLIFERATION OF ENTEROPATHOGENIC E. COLI
The present invention relates to a Myoviridae bacteriophage Esc-CHP-2 that is isolated from the nature and can kill specifically enteropathogenic E. coli strains, which has a genome represented by the nucleotide sequence of SEQ. ID. NO: 1 (Accession NO: KCTC 12661BP), and a method for preventing and treating the infections of enteropathogenic E. coli using the composition comprising said bacteriophage as an active ingredient.
