IMPLANTABLE LIGHT THERAPY DEVICE
The present invention relates to an implantable light therapy device which emits visible light in a specific wavelength band for a predetermined time period according to symptoms of a disease in a state in which the implantable light therapy device is fixed to a disease site, which occurs in tissue or an organ in the human body due to inflammation to suppress or reduce inflammation inducers (for example, interleukin 1 beta (IL-1) and interleukin 18 (IL-18)). When the inflammation inducers (for example, IL-1 and IL-18) in a disease site generated due to the inflammation in the tissue or the organ of the human body are suppressed or reduced according to the present invention, inflammatory diseases (for example, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, pancreatitis, rheumatoid arthritis) may be treated or prevented.
Laser Device with Gem Stone for Holistic Therapy
A laser device with gem stone for holistic therapy is disclosed. The device being comprised of three main parts: a first part being a pen-type, handheld, low-level laser, a second part being a gem stone positioned to an end of said laser; and a terminal sleeve portion fixedly-connecting the aforementioned gem stone to the laser. Unlike existing holistic therapy laser devices, the current disclosure allows the gem stone to refract the laser into several beams thereby treating multiple points on the body simultaneously. Another embodiment of the invention is comprised of a gem stone cap configured to be retrofitted onto existing, conventional laser pointers and being removable to allow a user to install a variety of gem stones therein.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION TARGETING DEVICES, ASSEMBLIES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present application is directed to devices, assemblies, systems and methods for targeting one or more sites with electromagnetic radiation. The devices, assemblies and systems are operationally configured to transform and convey electromagnetic radiation to one or more targeted sites. The devices, assemblies and systems may also convey one or more fluids or fluid solutions to the one or more targeted sites.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT USING LIGHT AND PULSE MODULATION
A system and method for a whole-body immersion bed or cabinet that permits the user to experience the therapy on their entire body at the same time. The therapy in its most basic form is a combination light, and sound therapy. Each therapy session includes a set of resonant frequencies and a set of beneficial light wavelengths applied to the user at the same time. The resonant frequencies are applied through specific pulses that are chosen based upon the condition that the therapy is attempting to treat. Additionally, the resonant frequencies may be applied through a frequency pulse generator. The frequency pulse generator is set to a pre-established set of frequencies that have been shown to be effective for treating each particular condition.
ILLUMINATION SYSTEM COMPRISING AN OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE WITH A DIFFUSER ELEMENT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND/OR STRUCTURING A DIFFUSER BASE BODY AT LEAST PARTIALLY OR IN SECTIONS THEREOF
An illumination system is provided that includes a laser light source and an optical waveguide connected to and/or associated with the laser light source at a proximal end thereof. The illumination system includes a diffuser element at the distal end of the optical waveguide with a longitudinal axis extending perpendicular to the coupling surface of the optical waveguide into the diffuser element. The diffuser element emits light over its active length laterally of the longitudinal axis and has at a base body with a scattering element. The scattering element is aligned along the longitudinal axis substantially parallel or at an angle thereto. An emission intensity homogenizer along the longitudinal axis is provided. The illumination system exhibits an intensity distribution of lateral emission deviating by at most 50% from an average lateral emission intensity.
INFANT PHOTOTHERAPY DEVICE, METHOD OF USE, AND KIT THEREFOR
A phototherapy device, a kit containing such a phototherapy device, and a method for treating a patient with a phototherapy device, the phototherapy device containing a housing, an emission portion, and a light tube, the housing containing a light source that emits light at a wavelength of from about 400 nm to about 550 nm, and may contain a light shield proximal to the light source, the emission portion being distal form the housing and connected thereto via a light tube which contains an optical fibre, and a mesh that may enclose the optical fibre and may allow a limited amount of light to leak from the optical fibre to the outside environment.
HEAD WORN DEVICE FOR TREATING NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASES
A head worn device for treating neurogenerative diseases. The head worn device has LEDs mounted to the device. Two printed circuit boards (PCB) are also mounted on the head worn device. Each PCB has a microprocessor and a battery in electrical communication. Each PCB controls a speaker for emitting audio and a vibrating device for emitting a vibration. The LEDs, speaker and vibrating device are in electrical communication with the microprocessor. The microprocessor is programmed to control the LEDs, the speaker and the vibrating device so that each operate at a regulated frequency so that generated light, sound and vibration travel to the user's brain for medical treatment.
PHOTOACTIVATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CORNEAL CROSS-LINKING TREATMENTS
A system for treating an eye includes a light source configured to provide photoactivating light that photoactivates a cross-linking agent applied to a cornea. The system includes one or more optical elements configured to receive the photoactivating light and produce a beam that defines a spot of the photoactivating light. The system includes a scanning system configured to receive the beam of the photoactivating light and to scan the spot of the photoactivating light along a first axis and a second axis to form a scan pattern on the cornea to generate cross-linking activity.
