Hydraulic system for a work machine having a hydraulic winch
11149755 · 2021-10-19 · ·

A hydraulic system for powering a winch assembly of a work machine includes a hydraulic reservoir, a pump, a cooling system, a first path of travel, and a second path of travel. The first path of travel is disposed between the pump and the cooling system, and the winch assembly is powered by the hydraulic fluid moving along the first path of travel. The second path of travel is disposed between the pump and the cooling system. When the winch assembly is in an active condition, a first valve is in an open position such that the hydraulic fluid moves along the first path of travel and through the cooling system. When the winch assembly is in an idle condition, a second valve is in an open position such that the hydraulic fluid moves along the second path of travel and through the cooling system.

INERTERS WITH FRICTION DISK ASSEMBLIES, AND AIRCRAFT HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS AND AIRCRAFT INCLUDING THE SAME
20210309348 · 2021-10-07 ·

Inerters with friction disk assemblies, and aircraft hydraulic systems and aircraft including the same. An inerter comprises an inerter housing containing an inerter fluid, a threaded shaft extending within the inerter housing and fixed relative to the first terminal, and an inerter rod extending at least partially within the inerter housing and fixed relative to the second terminal. The inerter further includes a friction disk assembly that, together with the inerter fluid, is configured to damp a motion of the second terminal relative to the first terminal. The friction disk assembly includes a fixed portion and a rotating portion, and is configured such that rotation of the rotating portion generates a frictional torque that opposes the rotation of the rotating portion. In some examples, the inerter is a component of a hydraulic actuator, an aircraft hydraulic system including the hydraulic actuator, and/or an aircraft including the aircraft hydraulic system.

SERVOVALVE

A distributor (3) of the closed-center, load sensing type, connected to a variable displacement pump (1) comprises a valve device (10, 110), composed of a logic element, which is pilot-operated and configured to bring a high-pressure channel (2) into communication with a low-pressure channel (4), the connection being usually opened by the combined action of an equivalent pressure generated by an elastic member (12) and a counter-pressure which is generated, under operative conditions, in the low-pressure channel (4). The connection is closed in a switching position and it is pilot-operated to a closure position by the combined action of a high-pressure signal (P) and a load sensing signal (LS).
