An enclosed heat sink with a side wall structure is provided. The side wall structure includes a welding body having a first welding plane and a side wall structure having a second welding plane. The first welding plane and the second welding plane are pressured and welded to each other, such that the welding body and the side wall structure encapsulate a cavity. A width of the second welding plane is smaller than a width between two side surfaces of the side wall structure.

The fastener extends through the through hole from a second side of the first component opposite the first side. The fastener is threadably received in the internal bore of the boss and reacts against the second side of the first component to fasten the first component to the second component.

Metal case

A metal case has a bottom part composed of a metal plate, and a side wall part composed of a metal plate that stands from an outer peripheral edge of the bottom part. A boundary part between the bottom part and the side wall part includes a welding portion formed by welding the both parts together. The welding portion is exposed on a surface of the metal case on a lower side in a standing direction of the side wall part. And, a lower end that is a lower end part of the bottom part in the standing direction of the side wall part is located on the lower side in the standing direction than the welding portion is.

Metal case

A metal case has a bottom part composed of a metal plate, and a side wall part composed of a metal plate that stands from an outer peripheral edge of the bottom part. A boundary part between the bottom part and the side wall part includes a welding portion formed by welding the both parts together. The welding portion is exposed on a surface of the metal case on a lower side in a standing direction of the side wall part. And, a lower end that is a lower end part of the bottom part in the standing direction of the side wall part is located on the lower side in the standing direction than the welding portion is.

Bracket assembly for a vehicle

A vehicle bracket assembly includes first and second platforms each including a body and connectors that extend from each of the bodies. A central base is disposed between the first and second platforms and are coupled to the first and second platforms via the connectors. First and second connecting legs are coupled to the body of each of the first and second platforms, respectively. A first attachment base is coupled to the first platform via the first connecting legs. A second attachment base includes a locating tab. The second attachment base is coupled to the second platform via the second connecting legs.
