Pole section for assembly into a pole for cleaning elevated windows and/or gutters
11248638 · 2022-02-15 ·

A pole section for temporary assembly with similar pole sections into an elongate pole assembly whereby a user can perform work on a remote worksite elevated by up to 20 m above the user. Each pole section includes a male end and a female end, having a complementary taper to slide into or around the other of a male or female end and form a fluid tight joint with a stiffness similar to or greater than the overall stiffness of the pole. The ends of each pole section include one of first and second complementary coupling parts. The coupling parts cooperate to prevent the pole sections moving relatively towards each other under the weight of overlying pole sections in use to prevent the pole sections jamming A resiliently deformable locking structure is provided in a coupling part by a ring spring.

Connection arrangement of two components

A connection arrangement (4, 4′) of two components (1, 2) according to the invention has a curved surface portion having a contact point on at least one of these components. The curved surface portion can extend over the entire surface of a groove, for example. The other component has a taper. When assembling the two components before a force is applied, a line connection is created from the 2-contact point connection and when force is applied, the line connection changes through plastic deformation into a strip connection, on the basis of which the two components (1, 2) hold together.

DEVICE FOR FIXING EQUIPMENT TO AN END OF THE INNER SURFACE OF A TUBE
20220170589 · 2022-06-02 · ·

A device is for fixing equipment to an end of the inner surface of a tube. The device has an elongated body, a ring adapted to surround and slide along a segment of the elongated body, and at least two flaps rotatable on the ring. Each hole in the elongated body is adapted for bearing a bolt aligned with the longitude of the elongated body. The ring has at least two threaded bores designed to mate with the threads of the bolts so that the position of the ring on the elongated body is controllable by applying torque to the bolts; and the flaps are positioned homogenously around the ring. The elongated body has at least one portion adapted to guide the flaps so that the flaps radially open against the inner surface of the tube.

GREASE CAP FOR BEARINGS

A hub mounted grease cap having a sleeve with an inner end and an outer end. The outer end has an outer end surface that is opposite the inner end. The sleeve encloses a bore that extends through the sleeve. The inner end has an outer diameter that may be a press fit or threaded connection to a hub into which it is installed. An end plug has an end wall and an aperture through the end wall. There is a shaft that extends through the aperture in the end wall of the end plug. A wedge block is connected to the shaft. A seal has a portion that is located between the end wall of the end plug and the wedge block. The seal expands radially outward against the bore of the sleeve when the wedge block is drawn toward the end wall.
