Adjustable support links for aircraft are disclosed herein. An adjustable support link includes a first rod end including a first shaft with first external threads, a second rod end including a second shaft with a bore having first internal threads, and a barrel nut at least partially disposed in the bore of the second rod end. The barrel nut has second external threads engaged with the first internal threads. The barrel nut having a channel. The first shaft is at least partially disposed in the channel. The channel has second internal threads engaged with the first external threads of the first rod end, such that rotation of the barrel nut in a first direction causes the first and second rod ends to move toward each other and rotation of the barrel nut in a second direction causes the first and second rod ends to move away from each other.

CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR A WELL STRING
20200408046 · 2020-12-31 ·

A connection system includes a turnbuckle having a first set of threads and a second set of threads disposed on an inner surface of the turnbuckle. The turnbuckle is configured to couple two threaded components to one another via rotation of the turnbuckle in a first direction. In addition, the connection system includes a compression washer configured to compress as the turnbuckle rotates in the first direction. The compression washer is configured to apply a longitudinal force to the turnbuckle while the compression washer is compressed to increase resistance to rotation of the turnbuckle in a second direction, opposite the first direction.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SECURING MINI-FRIDGE
20200386250 · 2020-12-10 ·

A method and system are provided for securing non-fixed structures against movement relative to fixed structures, and in particular to a method and system for securing mini-fridges within cabinets. The method and system employ a stabilizer comprising a pair of foot assemblies, wherein at least one of the foot assemblies is extendable in relation to the other one of the foot assemblies, each of the foot assemblies comprising a foot. The stabilizer is positionable in a gap defined by an exterior surface of the mini-fridge and an interior surface of the cabinet. The stabilizer is extended until one foot is in contact with the exterior surface of the mini-fridge and the other foot is in contact with the interior surface of the cabinet, such that the stabilizer is snugly fit in the gap to prevent relative movement between the mini-fridge and the cabinet.

RATCHET LOAD BINDER WITH TWO HANDLES
20200362942 · 2020-11-19 ·

The current invention relates to a load binder comprising an axially extending elongate, preferably tubular, member, two shanks, a first and second ratchet wheel, a first and second oscillatory handle; said member comprising end portions comprising inner screw threads in relatively opposite directions so as to accommodate said shanks which are correspondingly screw-threaded and which comprise distal ends, preferably eyes; whereby rotation of the member in one direction causes the distal ends to draw together and rotation of the member in relatively opposite direction causes the distal ends to spread apart; whereby said rotation of said member is effected by a ratchet mechanism which involves the provision of said first and said second ratchet wheel which are suitably secured intermediate the ends of the member and are rotatably mounted between mutually spaced first side members which project from said first and second handle.

SEPARABLE ROLLER SCREW ASSEMBLY FOR A SPACE CRAFT RELEASE MECHANISM SYSTEM
20200324923 · 2020-10-15 ·

The present disclosure relates to a separable roller screw assembly comprising: a first screw shaft having a first external thread and being axially separated from a second screw shaft having a second external thread; a planetary roller arrangement comprising multiple rotatable rollers radially arrayed about the first and second screw shafts, whilst being encapsulated by a rotatable nut module; the rotatable nut module being coaxially arranged about the first and second screw shafts and configured for maintaining the planetary roller arrangement, the first and second screw shafts in an axially fixed configuration to permit the assembly to carry a load in an axial direction corresponding to an axial tensile force, whilst enabling displacement of the first screw shaft relative to the second screw shaft when said assembly is released from said axially fixed configuration; and wherein each one of the multiple rollers comprises first and second roller external thread regions adapted to engage said first external thread and said second external thread, respectively. Moreover, the present disclosure relates to a space craft release mechanism for separating a first space craft element from a second space craft element and comprising a separable roller screw assembly. In addition, the present disclosure relates a clamp band system for a load bearing interface assembly of a space craft comprising a separable roller screw assembly.
