Snap connectors for wall framing
A framing system includes a first connection assembly that engages with a substrate. The first connection assembly includes a first connector and a track. At least one spring flange defined by the first connector engages with a fastener positioned along the substrate to maintain the first connection assembly in a fixed position relative to the substrate and to interconnect the substrate with the track. The framing system further includes a second connection assembly defining a second connector engaged to a stud. The second connection assembly engages with the first connection assembly to interconnect the stud with the track.
FURNITURE ELEMENT AND PIECE OF FURNITURE
A quadrangular furniture element, in particular a shelf with at least one bearing plane, has a base, a cover panel, and at least one profiled element which is secured between the base and the cover panel. A translation-rotation fitting is arranged on the base lower face facing away from the cover panel and/or on the cover panel upper face facing away from the base, the translation-rotation fitting being usable for moving the furniture element from a starting position into an open end position and back into the starting position in a combined translation-rotation movement, wherein at least one receiving element for fixing the at least one profiled element is arranged in an edge region of the base and the cover panel. A piece of furniture can have at least one such furniture element.
Seat plate gas cylinder quick-release device
A quick-release device for securing a gas cylinder in a seat plate includes a pedestal defining a socket for receiving the gas cylinder. The pedestal projects upwardly from an endwall to form a jaw against which the gas cylinder is received when applied to the socket. A clamp is pivoted to the jaw for movement between an open position and a closed position. A flange is formed in the pedestal and has a lower surface for confrontation with the seat plate. A latch is coupled to the pedestal. The latch moves between a first position enabling movement of the clamp between the open and closed positions, and a second position disabling movement of the clamp between the open and closed positions.
PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED USE
For the economical and energy-efficient use of a PV system having upright, in particular bifacial, PV modules and to substantially avoid shading of the PV modules, a supporting structure which is simple to manufacture and install is provided, that is constructed by vertical posts, which are connected to one another at intersecting points, and horizontally running cross-members such that rectangular mounting areas are provided for the individual PV modules. The posts and cross-members are formed in a material-saving manner by conventional profiles, and a division of the posts into two interconnectable sections substantially facilitates the assembly. An electrical connection is provided such that active surfaces which are arranged one above another can be operated at different electrical operating points and such that electrical lines are formed which are operated separately from one another and are arranged in a horizontally running manner. This minimizes effects of shading of PV modules on the efficiency of the energy conversion.
Structural attachment sealing system
A mounting device including a base having an open bottom, a longitudinal axis, and a linear guide on the base. The linear guide guides support hardware in linear movement along the longitudinal axis. An internal cavity is under the base for containing a sealant against and in cooperation with a roof when the mounting device is secured to the roof. An opening is though the base is for receiving a fastener when the mounting device is secured to the roof. The opening is in communication with the internal cavity. The linear guide extends beyond the internal cavity.
RETAINER WHICH CAN BE FASTENED TO A STAND
The invention relates to a retainer which can be fastened to a stand (1), having two jaws (2) which enclose the stand (1) in a clip-like manner and are guided displaceably relative to one another perpendicularly to their butt face (3) and, on the ends forming the butt faces (3), have connecting shoulders (4) which are opposite one another in pairs. In order to create advantageous design conditions, it is proposed that the connecting shoulders (4) form, on the side thereof facing away from the butt face (3), wedge faces (5) extending inclined relative to each other and each interact with a clamping shoe (8) surrounding the wedge-shaped connecting shoulders (4) in a wedge-shaped socket (9), and that the two jaws (2) each comprise, on the inside thereof, a guide ridge (6) which protrudes beyond the butt face (3) towards the other jaw (2) and engages in a guide groove (7) of the other jaw (2).
MODULAR UTILITY SYSTEM
A kit of portable modular components for use in demountably configuring a variety of structural assemblies. The kit comprises three types of elongate structural support components wherein the first type has a pair of opposed male ends, the second type has a male end and an opposed female end, and the third type has a pair of opposed female ends, wherein the male ends are configured for demountable engagement with the female ends. Each of the male ends comprises a cylindrical body with at least one linear set of two spaced-apart prongs around the circumferential surface of the cylindrical body. Each of the female ends has a cylindrical receptacle with one or more linear channels for receiving therein the cylindrical body and the at least one linear set of prongs. The female ends are provided with locking assemblies for releasable engagement the male ends.
