Retaining and anchoring device on a metal plate for fastening a functional support
A retaining and anchoring device forming a retaining and anchoring section on a metal plate on a reflector includes a recess provided in the metal plate. The recess has on an upper face of the metal plate a peripheral edge or edge sections spaced apart from one another. An undercut or several undercut sections are formed below the peripheral edge or the edge sections. The recess is free of bores or passages. A locking device prevents unintentional removal of a snap-on mechanism from the recess beyond an edge section or plural edge sections which cover the undercut section(s).
Belt strip for contact elements
Provided is a belt strip for contact elements, which includes of a flat metal strip, from which individual tabs are angle by approximately 90, wherein the tabs each have two retaining arms which are bent towards one another, wherein the retaining arms each have a constant direction of curvature, and wherein the radius of curvature is greater in the direction of the ends of the respective retaining arms.
NOZZLE FOR DISPENSING ADHESIVE AND METHODS OF DISPENSING ADHESIVE
The present disclosure provides inventive nozzles and applicators for dispensing adhesive. These nozzle comprise: a main body cavity and a cap releasably attached to the main body cavity; wherein the cap includes spaced orifices for dispensing adhesive on an outer surface of a male pipe and a sleeve extending inwardly from the cap into the main body cavity; wherein the main body cavity includes a barrel portion, a funnel portion and a conduit, and wherein the sleeve is sized to accommodate the outer surface of a selected male pipe.
TOOL CONTAINER
A container includes a base with base walls and a cavity defined by the base walls, a receptacle on one of the base walls, and a retainer selectively coupled to the receptacle. The retainer is configured to support a plurality of tools within the cavity. The base is sized to receive only a single retainer.
Net Pole Latch Mechanism
The disclosure relates to a wrapping material system in a harvester, particularly to a latching mechanism that allows a material support cylinder to be unlocked and automatically ejected from its locked position. The latching mechanism comprises a support plate, connected to a harvester sidewall and configured for supporting the material support cylinder, and a lever plate, connected to the support plate at a pivot point and configured for locking in the material support cylinder in a closed position and ejecting the material support cylinder from the locked position when moved to an open position.
FASTENER
A fastener includes a plug having a shape of a rotating body and a socket into which the plug is inserted in an axial direction. The socket includes a strap attachment portion to which a strap is to be attached and a socket body that forms a housing space in which the plug is disposed. The socket body includes a spring that includes a pair of ends arranged side by side in the axial direction and that faces, on one side in a thickness direction orthogonal to the axial direction, the housing space; a pair of supports that each support a corresponding one of the pair of ends of the spring; and a stop that faces, on the other side in the thickness direction, the housing space. The spring includes, between the pair of ends, a pressing portion that presses the plug disposed in the housing space against the stop.
Screen arrangement
A screen arrangement (10) including a stringer (16), a securing arrangement (18), and a plurality of screen panels (20) adapted to couple to the stringer (16) by the securing arrangement (18). The plurality of screen panels (20) may each include a side notch (22) arranged to define a screen aperture (24) between adjacent ones of the plurality of screen panels (20) and the stringer (16) includes a stringer aperture (26) aligned with the screen aperture (24). The securing arrangement (18) may include an expandable part (28) adapted to extend from the screen aperture (24) into the stringer aperture (26) and a fastener (30) adapted pass between the screen aperture (24) and the stringer aperture (26) so as to expand the expandable part (28) within the stringer aperture (26). A related method is also disclosed.
CLAMP SYSTEM
A clamp comprises a clamp band having a band surface. A first beam element is positioned at a first portion of the band surface. A second beam element is positioned at a second portion of the band surface. A mount includes a first portion and a second portion. A first portion of the mount is positioned at the first beam element opposite the first portion of the band surface. A second portion of the mount is positioned at the second beam element opposite the second portion of the band surface. A tightening mechanism is coupled to the first beam element and the second beam element that imparts a compressive force on the first and second beam elements. The compressive force in turn imparts an inward force at the band surface of the clamp band.
Bracket for a rotating shaft
In at least some implementations, a bracket for a rotating shaft includes a base and a retainer. The base has a mount body and a receiver having a first portion coupled to the mount body, a second portion extending from the first portion at a first end of the second portion to a second end of the second portion, a seat and an opening. The opening is defined at least in part by an inner surface disposed around a center axis. The retainer has a first surface engaged with the seat and a second surface engaged with a retention surface of the mount body and the retainer prevents separation of the seat from the retention surface by a distance greater than the distance between the first surface and the second surface.
