FIXATION SYSTEM
20180163774 · 2018-06-14 · ·

A first component with a fixing groove is affixed to a second component, using a ball-head screw having a thread and a ball head, a slot nut for the thread fitting into the fixing groove of the first component, and a fixation part having a ball head seat and a planar fixation support surface for fixing the fixation part to the second component. The ball head seat receives the ball head, forming a ball joint. In a central position, the fixation support surface is parallel and offset to a longitudinal axis of the ball-head screw. The ball-head seat includes recessed portions receiving a screw portion of the ball-head screw. An inclination angle between the longitudinal axis of the ball-head screw in the central position, and the longitudinal axis of the ball-head screw in the position when received in the recessed portion, is at least 90?.

CONNECTOR FOR CONCRETE BARRIERS
20180106283 · 2018-04-19 ·

Provided are a connector and a connection system for concrete barriers. The connector is configured to slip-fit into a cross-shaped gap formed between the concrete barriers. The connector includes a saddle member and a fork member. The saddle member includes a base plate and peripheral plates. The peripheral plates extend at angles from the base plate to define open ends of the saddle member. The fork member extends below the base plate of the saddle member. The fork member includes an elongated base, flanges, and legs. The elongated base extends between the peripheral plates. The flanges are transverse to the elongated base forming a cross-shaped structure with the flanges that extend toward the open ends of the saddle member. The legs extend separately from the elongated base.

CLAMPING AND MOUNTING ACCESSORIES FOR MOTION PICTURE LIGHTING EQUIPMENT

A support pin is engaged with a collar, as affixed to a mount, by an engaging mechanism between the support pin and the collar, which engaging mechanism provides interchangeability, index-ability and positive locking between the support pin and the collar. Motion picture lighting and rigging equipment is secured to the support pin. The engaging mechanism includes a V-shaped or other configured reception on or in the collar with a cross-pin or similarly other configured portion on the support pin (e.g., non-circular cross-sectional configurations such as a hexagon). A linchpin is placed though mating openings in the collar and support pin to lock the two together when the mating openings are aligned. Two or more crossing V-shaped receptions or non-circular cross-sectional configurations provide a variety of angular orientations of the support pin, especially for bent support pins, with respect to the collar.

Flexible coupling

The invention relates to a flexible coupling comprising a lower assembly (10) having a spigot member (20), and an upper assembly (60) having a recess adapted to receive the spigot member, thereby allowing articulation of the upper assembly (60) with respect to the lower assembly (10) in any direction. A complementary indexing means is adapted to circumferentially align the lower assembly (10) and the upper assembly (60), and a single resilient member (65) interconnects the lower and upper assemblies, wherein the lower and upper assemblies are urged into mutual engagement against said articulation.

Retaining and anchoring device on a metal plate for fastening a functional support

A retaining and anchoring device forming a retaining and anchoring section on a metal plate on a reflector includes a recess provided in the metal plate. The recess has on an upper face of the metal plate a peripheral edge or edge sections spaced apart from one another. An undercut or several undercut sections are formed below the peripheral edge or the edge sections. The recess is free of bores or passages. A locking device prevents unintentional removal of a snap-on mechanism from the recess beyond an edge section or plural edge sections which cover the undercut section(s).

Display Support System

A display support system is provide and includes a node connector and a support connector secured to the node connector. The node connector includes a plurality of intersecting planar surfaces that form the outer surface thereof. The support connector is releasably securable to the node connector along one of the plurality of intersecting planar surfaces.

Connector for concrete barriers

Connector to slip-fit into a cross-shaped gap between barriers. The barriers are engaged by a lock extending in the gap into slots through sidewalls terminating the barriers. The connector includes a saddle and fork. The saddle includes a base plate and peripheral plates. The base plate is to extend over the gap and partially atop the barriers. The peripheral plates are to be disposed over front and back walls of the barriers. The base plate and peripheral plates define open ends. The fork extends below the base plate and includes a base, flanges, and legs. The base is to he disposed atop the lock between the sidewalls. The flanges are disposed transversely to the base forming a cross-shaped structure to be disposed atop the lock with the flanges extended toward the open ends into the slots. The legs extend separately from the base to straddle the lock between the sidewalls.

Mounting System Employing an X-Shaped Adapter for Mounting Devices to a Square Receiver
20170191517 · 2017-07-06 ·

A mounting system employs an X-shaped adapter for mounting a device to a square receiver. Many different devices can include an X-shaped adapter to allow the device to be mounted to any appropriately sized square receiver. A square receiver can be positioned and secured in many different locations to facilitate the use of a variety of devices in such locations. The X-shaped adapter is configured to insert within the opening of the square receiver when the X is aligned with the corners of the opening. Once inserted, the X-shape prevents the device from rotating.

Marker Holder

A marker assembly is provided. The marker assembly is attachable to a roof or roof element to alert a worker to potential hazards near by. For example, the marker assemblies may be attached to a roof adjacent to four corners of a skylight, to alert a worker that the skylight may be nearby, particularly in the event that it may be buried or otherwise hidden or obscured.

Coupling assembly

A coupling assembly includes a mounting bracket including a first mounting wall and a second mounting wall coupled to the first mounting wall. The coupling assembly further includes a connection bracket including a first connection wall, a second connection wall, and a third connection wall interconnecting the first and second connection walls. The connection bracket defines a first bracket opening extending through the first connection wall and a second bracket opening extending through the second connection wall. The coupling assembly further includes a flange extending from the second mounting wall. The flange extends through the connection bracket via the first and second bracket openings. The coupling assembly further includes a fastener extending through the third connection wall and the flange such that the mounting bracket is coupled to the connection bracket.
