Modular building connector
11479962 · 2022-10-25 · ·

A connector assembly, having an upper connector coupled to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors. The upper and lower connectors allow for coupling to adjacent upper and lower connectors, respectively, allowing for addition of a modular unit to a pre-existing modular structure. Also, ways of coupling adjacent upper connectors and coupling of adjacent lower connectors when coupling a modular unit to a pre-existing modular structure are provided.

Table with removable legs

A furniture assembly can include a tabletop with removable legs. The removable legs can be attached to the tabletop with a socket having a threaded member mounted in a non-fixed and anti-rotation registration at the bottom of the socket. The legs can be mounted to the socket by insertion and turning for threaded engagement. The floating engagement mechanism can allow the threaded fastener member to move during installation to provide for enhanced alignability between the leg and the threaded fastener member.

ASSEMBLED PRODUCT AND A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE ASSEMBLED PRODUCT

An assembled product includes at least three elements arranged in three different planes. A first element is connected perpendicular to a second element, and a third element is connected perpendicular to the second element. The assembled product includes one or more locking devices, each comprising a flexible tongue arranged in an insertion groove one of the at least three elements. The flexible tongue cooperates with a tongue groove, at an adjacent one of the at least three elements, for locking the one element and the adjacent element together. A second edge of the second element is connected to a second edge of the third element by a first of said locking devices.

A closed cell foam sleeping pad has a foldable configuration and can be folded accordion style. The sleeping pad's top and bottom surfaces have a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of indentations, wherein the protrusions and indentations are arranged at different locations on different but adjacent foldable sections of the sleeping pad body such that when the pad is folded accordion style, the protrusions nest into the indentations perfectly to give the sleeping pad a smaller packing density while at the same time providing the protrusions for added user comfort.

Method and apparatus for attaching legs to furniture

Method and apparatus for attaching legs to furniture using a mounting plate having a pair of studs on one side and a furniture leg on the other side. Three embodiments are shown wherein the mounting plate is a single piece in one embodiment, a double piece in a second embodiment, and a double piece without a leg in a third embodiment. The mounting plate mounts to the underside of the piece of furniture using screws extended through a plurality of mounting holes so that the studs are inserted into and fixed to the piece of furniture. The mounting plate has an S-shaped aperture in it for receiving a mating S-shaped portion which is attached to the leg using an insert portion so that the S-shape portion then passes through the plate to the upper side of the plate and is turned approximately 45 to 90 degrees so that the inner edges of the ends of the S-shaped portion frictionally engages the studs wherein the leg becomes attached to the piece of furniture. The two piece embodiment works similarly to the one piece embodiment except that the mounting plate is divided into two parts for placement on each side of the mating adjacent parts of the piece of furniture so that when the S-shaped portion is turned and frictionally engages the studs, it not only joins the leg to the underside of the piece of furniture but also joins the two adjacent pieces of furniture together.
