20210268699 · 2021-09-02 · ·

The invention relates to a connection element, in particular a thermal adhesive bonding boss, to be introduced into at least one component, in particular a hollow chamber component, in particular a plate-shaped hollow chamber component which has hollow chambers, under the effect of pressure and rotation, comprising a main part which comprises a thermoplastic synthetic material. The connection element has a longitudinal axis and is designed to rotate about the longitudinal axis, and the connection element has an upper face with a tool placement point and a lower face which faces away from the upper face, wherein the connection element has an expanding portion made of a thermally activatable expandable material on the main part on a circumferential surface extending between the upper face and the lower face.

Fastener System

A fastener system includes a fastener or nail for mounting objects on a surface and a corresponding plug for filling a hole left when the nail is removed from the surface. The nail and plug are formed of an engineering plastic, and may be formed from recycled materials. In embodiments, the nail and plug are joined by an arm which is easily broken away. In embodiments, the fastener and plug each have a plurality of flanges which provide strength and grip the surface.

CONSTRUCTION USING BUNDLED TUBE AND THREADED STEPPED DOWELS

A system and method for creating a column for construction using bundled tube are provided. The column having a bottom portion, a middle portion, and a top portion. Each portion consists of a bundle of individual pillars, comprising a center pillar, a plurality of corner pillars, and a plurality of middle pillars. From the bottom portion of the column, addition pillars can be affixed on top of the pillars of the bottom portion, thus forming the middle and the top portion of the column. Each pillar can be secured to another component using a thread stepped dowel comprising of a base section, at least one middle section, and a tip section, with each section being progressively smaller in circumference than the last. The at least one middle section of the threaded stepped dowel further comprises thread spiraling around the outer surface of the at least one middle section.

ANCHORING OF CONNECTOR ELEMENT

A method of anchoring a lightweight building element having a first building layer and an interlining layer distally of the first building layer, and possibly a second building layer distally of the interlining layer. For anchoring, the the distal end of a connector element is inserted into a mounting hole in the lightweight building element, and also a sleeve including a thermoplastic material is inserted into the mounting hole, the sleeve enclosing the connector element. Then, a distally facing liquefaction face of the sleeve is caused to be in contact with a proximally facing support face of the connector element. Energy impinges to liquefy at least a flow portion of the thermoplastic material of the sleeve, and the liquefaction face is pressed against the support face to cause at least a fraction of the flow portion to flow radially outward. After the flow portion has re-solidified, it anchors the connector element in the receiving object.

Dowels harvested from wood including portions from adjacent growth rings that are oriented so that the dowels expand in a horizontal direction, relative to its longitudinal axis, when exposed to moisture. Assembly systems can incorporate the dowels as fasteners, dowels and the assembly systems marked to allow for orienting the dowels for expansion in a predetermined direction relative to the assembly system. Wall systems made of contiguous wall panels assembled with dowels, where the dowel paths are arranged in configurations for stabilizing the assembled wall system. The wall panel tops can include pairs of dowel paths angled toward each other. The central wall panel bottoms can include a dowel path along a longitudinal axis, while the flanking wall panel bottoms can include dowel paths extending toward the central wall panel. The wall system can include the markings for orienting marked and directionally-expanding dowels.
