Disclosed is a fixing (1) for securing an article (21) to a surface (19). The fixing comprising a coupling arrangement (3) for coupling the fixing to an article such as cabling. Elongate members (5) extend from the coupling arrangement and are moved together to insert the fixing into a cavity (17), and spring apart to retain the fixing in the cavity. The elongate members have resiliently deformable inner formations (9). The inner formations engage with one another and resiliently deform when the elongate members are brought together, thereby increasing the pull resistance of the fixing. The inner formations are inwardly extending branches each presenting a ramped surface oriented towards the distal ends (8) of the respective elongate member, assisting in coupling an article to the fixing.

A doubling-up fitting includes an expansion sleeve which has a sleeve base with a sleeve base opening and has at least one expansion tab which can be spread radially outward. An inner ring is axially displaceable in the expansion sleeve towards the sleeve base in a tightening direction in order to spread the at least one expansion tab radially outward. A threaded bolt with a screw thread and with a bolt head engages behind the inner ring in the tightening direction. A threaded part has a widened head and can be screwed to the screw thread of the threaded bolt. The opening diameter of the sleeve base opening and the clear opening diameter of the inner ring are each greater than the bolt diameter of the threaded bolt.

A doubling-up fitting includes a clamp element with a clamp base and at least two clamp arms rising from the clamp base at its ends. The free clamp ends are angled inward and extend over the clamp base. A rotatably mounted spreading disc is arranged between the clamp base and the free clamp ends. A disc opening leads into a recess in the spreading disc where the diameter is greater than the disc opening diameter. A plurality of outer contour portions spread the free clamp ends radially outward less far in an initial rotational position of the spreading disc than in a final rotational position. An adjusting disc arranged in the recess of the spreading disc has a thread. The outer diameter of the adjusting disc is smaller than the diameter of the recess in the spreading disc and larger than the opening diameter of the disc opening.

A method and fastening device for use in heavy duty machinery for fastening a lining element to a surface of a body steel plate is disclosed. An assembly, a truck and a handling tool utilizing the method and fastening device is also disclosed.

There is a self-tapping curtain rod bracket with spaced prongs terminating with tips. The tips and prongs are used to penetrate and create holes in a wall. They extend through the holes and engage the backside of the wall. A wall support extends from the spaced prongs along the frontside of the wall to provide support. An arm extends away from the wall and has a cradle to support a curtain rod. The wall support also has an arm support, and the spaced prongs also includes a mount support. The mount support being located between the arm support and the arm.

There is a self-tapping curtain rod bracket with spaced prongs terminating with tips. The tips and prongs are used to penetrate and create holes in a wall. They extend through the holes and engage the backside of the wall. A wall support extends from the spaced prongs along the frontside of the wall to provide support. An arm extends away from the wall and has a cradle to support a curtain rod. The wall support also has an arm support, and the spaced prongs also includes a mount support. The mount support being located between the arm support and the arm.

A fixing for attaching an object to a panel, the fixing comprising: a head member (11) configured to be located on a first side of the panel; a back member (13) configured to be located on a second side of the panel and to receive at least part of an attachment element; and a neck member (12) connecting the head member (11) and the back member (13), wherein the head member (11), neck member (12), and back member (13) are rigidly coupled together and a part of the back member extends radially outwardly with respect to the head member, such that the back member is locatable on the second side of the panel by manipulation of the rigidly coupled head member, neck member and back member.

A fixing for attaching an object to a panel, the fixing comprising: a head member (11) configured to be located on a first side of the panel; a back member (13) configured to be located on a second side of the panel and to receive at least part of an attachment element; and a neck member (12) connecting the head member (11) and the back member (13), wherein the head member (11), neck member (12), and back member (13) are rigidly coupled together and a part of the back member extends radially outwardly with respect to the head member, such that the back member is locatable on the second side of the panel by manipulation of the rigidly coupled head member, neck member and back member.
