WALL MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A mounting assembly is provided for securing an element to a wall structure having a laminate outer cover residing adjacent to an internal thickness of compressible material. The assembly includes an anchor for engaging the wall structure and comprising a threaded outer wall for securing the anchor within the wall thickness, an elongated internal passageway for receiving an extent of an elongated fastener, and a deformable upper crown arranged about an open end of the passageway; a strut assembly coupled to the supported element; and an elongated fastener for securing the strut assembly to the anchor and wall structure. Other embodiments include a fastener assembly kit comprising a plurality of separate components to be assembled together to mount a strut member to a laminated foam wall panel, the components including an anchor, a washer assembly, a spacer, and an elongated fastener for securing the components to the wall panel.
Anchor Plug with Prefilled Adhesive
A ready to use composite anchor plug kit, pre-assembled with adhesive/s or compounds (20, 21) and spill catchment film (11), which does not need separate adhesive/s or compounds to be inserted, injected or applied in or on the body of the anchor plug for the purposes of increasing the resultant anchoring strength. The anchor plug has a detachable, adhesive backed, spill containment and collection film (11) designed to protect the immediate surrounding surface work area from the extra adhesive (20, 21) seeping out. The adhesive (20, 21) overspill is collected on the film surface, which can be detached & discarded, thereby ensuring a neat & clean uncontaminated area around the anchored borehole.
The body of the anchor plug (16) is sealed with a pressure retaining diaphragm seal plug (15) with self-sealing, leak-proof properties, designed to retain the generated pressure within the cavity of the anchor plug (16), after it is pierced and threaded through with an anchor.
ANCHORING A DOWEL IN AN OBJECT
A method of anchoring a first object in a second object. The second object defines an opening. The first object has an insert portion that defines an insertion axis and has an outer shape that may form an undercut with respect to axial directions. The method includes inserting the insert portion in the opening, with a hardenable composition (prepolymer; mortar) between a wall of the opening and the insert portion, and causing mechanical vibration energy to impinge to cause the hardenable composition to undergo a chemical hardening process to yield a hardened composition, so that a first connection between the first object and the hardened composition and a second connection between the hardened composition and the second object results, whereby the first object is anchored in the second object. The first connection and/or the second connection may include an adhesive connection and/or a positive-fit connection.
Seal Coated Devices
An activatable material coated device comprising a device and an activatable material, comprising at least about 5.5% or greater blowing agent, blowing agent accelerator or both. The activatable material is milled into a particulate size of from about 500 microns to about 10000 microns and the device is heated to a temperature of at least about 30? C. but below an activation temperature of the activatable material and contacted with the particulate of the activatable material, adhering the activatable material to the device.
Method and system for inserting an insert element into a panel product, the panel product produced thereby and method and system for performing a tensile test on the inserted insert element
In a method and a system for producing a panel product device, in which a panel pre-product is provided, comprising at least one recess formed in a panel surface and having a delimitation, and at least one insert element is provided, intended for anchoring in at least one of the recesses, the system comprises automated means for inserting the insert element into the recess in the panel pre-product, and automated means for filling an intermediate space between the insert element and the delimitation of the recess with a curable or curing filling fluid. In a method and a system for testing the loading resistance of the connection between the insert element and the recess in the panel surface of the panel pre-product, a variable tensile testing force is applied in an automated manner to the insert element up to a predetermined tensile testing force. Finally, a set of auxiliary assembly tools for use in the production method or system is provided, comprising a covering and positioning device for inserting and positioning the insert element in the recess and a connecting device for releasably connecting the insert element to the covering and positioning device.
Method and Levelling Screw for Installing an Attachment Part
A method for installing an attachment part on a concrete or masonry base, where the base is provided with a bore, includes arranging a hardenable grout within the bore and providing a levelling screw that has an attachment part support for supporting the attachment part, a shank which is connected to the attachment part support, and at least one first screw thread which is arranged on the shank. The shank is screwingly inserted into the bore and into the hardenable grout where the at least one first screw thread taps the base as the shank is screwingly inserted into the bore. Following the inserting of the shank into the bore and into the hardenable grout that is arranged within the bore, the levelling screw is partially unscrewed out of the bore thereby raising the attachment part support away from the base. The attachment part is placed on the attachment part support.
INSERT SYSTEM, INSERT AND PANEL ASSEMBLY
The invention is directed to an insert system comprising an insert with a base and an outer skirt extending from the base, thereby forming a chamber. The outer skirt is provided with a first inner skirt surface and a first outer skirt surface. The insert system further comprises a panel with a core structure and a first cover sheet that at least partially covers the core structure. The first cover sheet defines a first outer panel surface and has an opening. At least one piston is arranged in the opening and beneath the first outer panel surface. According to the invention the piston during mounting of the insert sweeps into the chamber to discharge an adhesive agent from the chamber into the core structure via at least one pathway.
