Wire unit
Provided is a wiring unit in which it is possible to limit the height dimension. The wiring unit is provided with a plurality of electrical wires, a plate on which a support surface for supporting each of the electrical wires is formed, and a holding member. The holding member has a flat pressing surface arranged to be approximately parallel with the support surface of the plate. The electrical wires are arranged in a row and held between the pressing surface and the support surface.
Impact device
An impact device includes a drive assembly, a cam having a ramp and a fall-off, and a follower associated with the cam. During rotation of the cam, one of the cam or the follower axially displaces as the follower traverses the cam and falls off the fall-off to transform the rotary motion of the drive assembly to a reciprocating motion having a saw-tooth shape that includes a gradual retraction and a quick extension. The quick extension creates an impact loading, which can be used, for example, for driving a fastener into a work piece.
Staple and staple gun therefor
A staple is provided with two legs each including a forward projection; and a connection member having two ends formed with tops of the legs respectively. In another embodiment, each leg further has a rearward projection. In still another embodiment, the staple is shaped as an L. In yet another embodiment, the staple is shaped as a T.
STAPLE AND STAPLE COLLATION
A staple includes a crown section having diamond shaped with a first curve, a second curve, and a third curve representing three points of a diamond. The crown section having opposite ends. A pair of leg sections extend from the opposite ends of the crown section.
Polymeric fastener
A polymeric fastener for use in the construction industry for fastening wood and other basic materials together. The polymeric fastener can be formed in the basic shape of a nail and/or a staple-like fastener. Preferred embodiments of the polymeric fastener include a hardened binder embedded with a filler and/or a core for adequate strength as required for use with a delivery device powered by pneumatics, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems.
POWERED FASTENING DEVICE WITH DEPTH SHUTOFF
A powered fastening device is provided and is capable of applying multiple strikes to a fastener to drive the fastener to a preselected depth in a work piece and then automatically stopping the strikes when the preselected depth has been achieved.
Staple-refill
A staple-refill 11 is provided with: a casing 12 in which a plurality of sheet-type connected staples 10 are stacked; a staple inserting port 14; a staple discharge port 16; a cover member 15 which covers the sheet-type connected staples 10 in the casing 12 from a side of the staple inserting port 14; and a notch portion 18 formed in the casing 12 and extending from an edge of the staple inserting port 14 in an insertion direction.
Clamp arrangement, setting tool system and use of a setting tool system
A clamp arrangement for tree trunks with a main body on which at least three retaining tongues are formed, arranged at a distance from one another, wherein the main body and the retaining tongues are oriented, as blades, in a common cutting direction, and wherein at least two snap lugs are formed on the main body and/or on at least one retaining tongue to allow a detachable connection with a setting tool.
FASTENER CAP FOR LUMBER WRAP
A fastener cap assembly for securing protective wrap to lumber includes a plurality of fastener caps spaced from one another by breakable tabs along a first axis extending through a center of the fastener caps, with each of the fastener caps and breakable tabs comprising a substrate formed from a paper-based material. The fastener cap assembly further includes a groove extending across a center portion of the breakable tabs and penetrating inward from the top surface of the breakable tabs to a predetermined depth, and a protective material applied to at least the top surfaces of the substrates that forms a non-waxy and moisture-resistant protective harrier when cured.
SUBSTRATE MOUNTING CLIP
A substrate mounting clip includes a plate having a first side and a second side. A first arm extends from the first side of the plate. The first arm includes a first projection shaped and dimensioned to secure the plate to a first substrate. A second arm extends from the second side of the plate. The second arm includes a second projection shaped and dimensioned to secure the plate to a second substrate proximate to the first substrate. An aperture is formed in the plate between the first arm and the second arm.
