Fasteners, fastener assemblies and components thereof
A grommet (200, 300, 400), a stud (102), an assembly of a grommet and a stud forming a fastener (100), and a method of assembling a grommet and a stud to form a fastener has the grommet with an interengaging element (250) in a channel wall of the grommet for engaging a cooperating, compatible or complementary interengaging element in a wall of the stud. The grommet and the stud can be assembled by moving the grommet and the stud relative to each other until the interengaging element in the grommet engages the complementary interengaging element in the stud. A family of grommets is described.
Material mechanical fastener
A fastener suitable for temporarily or permanently connecting one object to another, for example a form to concrete. The fastener includes a nail having a guide wire bonded thereto, with the guide wire including a segment that extends outwardly past the tip of the nail, which facilitates insertion into a hole predrilled in the objects. The bond between the nail and wire is adapted to be broken in at least one area of connection when the fastener is driven into the predrilled hole.

Sealed Cap Nail
A sealed nail cap assembly used to attach roofing felt, house wrap, tar paper and insulation foam board. Unlike galvanized nails, a cap nail has a steel shank and a large polyethylene cap. The sealed nail cap assembly generally includes a nail, a cap, and a seal (with or without ribs). The seal is perfectly fit to fit within the cap of the seal nail cap assembly.

Convertible metal backings and related methods
A substrate usable with a double-side adhesive strip to suspend the substrate to a wall surface. The substrate can have one or more access holes located within an outer perimeter of the substrate. Each access hole has an inner perimeter inwardly of the outer perimeter that is sized and shaped to allow a tab of the double-sided adhesive strip to be extracted through the inner perimeter, after the substrate is suspended on the wall surface. Various articles can attach to the suspended substrate, such as through magnetic attachment, a hook, or a shelf.
NAIL, IN PARTICULAR FOR USE IN A NAIL SETTING DEVICE
Nail, in particular for use in a nail setting device, of an exclusively or predominantly ligno-cellulosic material and has a nail shaft (2) defining a nail axis (X), a nail tip (3) arranged at the front end of the nail shaft (2) and a nail head (4) arranged at the rear end of the nail shaft (2) and designed to be broader than the nail shaft (2), wherein the nail shank (2), the nail tip (3) and the nail head (4) have a circular cross-section, and wherein the nail shank (2) and the nail head (4) are connected by a transition region (5) which widens towards the nail head (4) and whose annular outer surface is curved concavely towards the nail axis (X).

Archery target pin
An example target pin is disclosed having a body for a removable shaft. The body has a base and a support structure configured to retain the removable shaft substantially perpendicular to the base when the removable shaft is assembled in the support structure of the body. The removable shaft is assembled in the body and is then ready for use by press it through a target into a target backing to hold the target securely in place on the target backing during archery or other target shooting.
Gutter downspout extension ground support
A gutter downspout extension support is used to support the free end of a downspout extension above the ground. The gutter downspout extension support has a clip with a first and second connected legs that are disposed overlapping and at a spaced distance from one another thereby providing a narrow gap therebetween that is configured to removably receive in a friction fit a bottom wall of the downspout extension. A ground engaging support stake having a first end and a tapered second end and a pivot coupling connecting the first end of the ground engaging support stake to the clip such that the ground engaging support stake is pivotable toward and away from the clip.
