V-band clamp
A V-band clamp includes first and second clamp sections each having an arcuate shape with a first end, a second end, and inside surface defining a recessed channel. A hinge pivotably connects the second end of the first clamp section to the first end of the second clamp section. At least one fastener is configured to releasably connect the first end of the first clamp section to the second end of the second clamp section in a closed position. When the V-band clamp is in the closed position, each fastener extends through an opening in an end face on the first end of the first clamp section and into a bore in an end face on the second end of the second clamp section.
Artificial muscles comprising an electrode pair having fan portions and artificial muscle assemblies including same
An artificial muscle includes an electrode pair including a first electrode and a second electrode. One or both of the first electrode and the second electrode includes a central opening. The first electrode and the second electrode each include two or more fan portions and two or more bridge portions. Each fan portion includes a first end having an inner length, a second end having an outer length, a first side edge extending from the second end, and a second side edge extending from the second end. The outer length is greater than the inner length. Each bridge portion interconnecting adjacent fan portions at the first end.

Fastening system
A fastening system having a cable tie which has i) a toothed cable tie strip and ii) a cable tie head with a detent device for detent engagement with the toothed cable tie strip. The fastening system further includes a holding apparatus which is separate from the cable tie. The cable tie, in the fully assembled state, is positioned relative to the holding apparatus such that the material for binding held by the cable tie is arranged spaced apart from the holding apparatus in order to reduce abrasion of the material for binding. A cable tie, a holding apparatus for a fastening system of the type, and a corresponding assembly method are also presented.
RELEASABLE FASTENING DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR OPERATING A RELEASABLE FASTENING DEVICE
A releasable fastening device includes a socket, an engagement structure, and first and second lever arms. The socket is insertable into an opening of an object from a first side. The first and second lever arms are pivotably attached to the socket at respective pivot points and are slidably connected to the engagement structure. The fastening device moves between a mounting position where the fastening device is insertable into the object and a fastening position where the fastening device is attached thereto. The first and second lever arms have respective attachment surfaces, respectfully configured to engage a first engagement surface on a second side of the object in connection to the opening in the fastening position and a second engagement surface on the second side of the object in connection to the opening in the fastening position.

Shroud for cable hangers
The present disclosure is directed to a shroud for a cable hanger which may isolate the metal interfaces between cable hangers and their supporting structures. The present disclosure is also directed to an interference mechanism of the shroud which may minimize or eliminate accidental escape of the hanger from a supporting structure.
Locking push pin and heatsink assembly
A locking push pin and methods of using the locking push pin to assemble a heatsink assembly, are described. The locking push pin includes a body lumen extending through a pin body, and several prongs radially outward from the body lumen. Peripheral surfaces of the prongs are separated by a body slot radially outward from the body lumen. The locking push pin includes a pin lock having a branch that extends through the body lumen and into the body slot between the peripheral surfaces. The pin lock advances from an unlocked configuration in which the branch is in the body slot proximal to a distal end of the prongs, allowing the prongs to deflect radially inward, to a locked configuration in which the branch is in the body slot at the distal end of the prongs, blocking deflection of the prongs. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
