The top of the stated self-tapping thread section is connected with the cylindrical locking thread section in a fixed way. The external surface of the stated cylindrical locking thread section is set with external thread. The top of the stated cylindrical locking thread section is connected with the transition fillet in a fixed way. The top of the stated transition fillet is connected with the concave storage ring in a fixed way. The top of the stated concave storage ring is connected with the flange in a fixed way.
Indexing pins and indexing clamps for aligning a first body and a second body of a structure
An indexing pin comprises a central axis. The indexing pin further comprises a threaded portion, extending along the central axis. The indexing pin also comprises a stem, extending along the central axis opposite the threaded portion. The indexing pin further comprises a cylindrical surface, extending along the central axis between the threaded portion and the stem. The indexing pin further comprises a tapered surface, extending between the threaded portion and the cylindrical surface. The indexing pin further comprises a flange, located between the stem and the cylindrical surface.
POST-TO-BEAM FASTENER
Various embodiments provide a post-to-beam fastener including a head, a tip, and a threaded shank connected to the head at a first end and the tip and a second end. In various embodiments, threaded shank includes a longitudinal axis extending from the head to the tip, and the tip includes a recess operable to removably receive a drill bit to the fastener.
Screwdriver for threaded plug and tightening device
A screwdriver device for a threaded plug includes a structure which extends along an axis and includes a head and a shank connected to a first end of the head, wherein the head has a second end which opens onto a cavity suitable for containing a head of a plug, wherein along the axis the cavity includes at least a first portion having a lateral surface which has a first profile and at least a second portion having a lateral surface which has a second profile which is not coincident with the first profile.
Fastener having improved wobble control, fastening system including the same, and method of forming the same
A fastener including a first recess and a second recess adjacent the first recess. The first recess includes a side surface defining a shape of the first recess and a stability surface oriented at an angle of greater than 1° and less than or equal to 89° relative to a major axis of the fastener.
Mill liner installation
The present disclosure relates to a method for use in installation of a mill liner, the method including (a) retaining a mounting bolt at least partially within a liner opening extending through the mill liner, (b) positioning the mill liner against a mill shell so that the retained mounting bolt is aligned with a mill shell opening extending through the mill shell, (c) selectively coupling an extraction tool to the mounting bolt, the coupling performed by an operator outside of the mill shell, (d) detaching the mounting bolt from the liner using the extraction tool; (e) pulling the mounting bolt through the mill shell opening so that at least a portion of the mounting bolt protrudes outside of the mill shell, and, (e) securing a fastener onto the mounting bolt to thereby attach the mill liner to the mill.
Dual Head Screw
This present invention relates to a dual head screw that features at least one male nut driver extending outwardly from a base head opposite the shaft of the screw. The dual head screw replaces standard female head screws, thus eliminating concern over stripping of the screw head or the same becoming compacted with debris. The dual head screw has a shaft with a threaded section, a base head and the male nut driver. The male nut driver is dimensioned in size to withstand the torsional forces associated with installing or extracting the dual head screw from an object, and may be driven or extracted with a standard hand tool or a power drill. In a further embodiment, the male nut driver may be comprised of a first driving portion and a second driving portion.
Universal Hardware Nut
A universal hardware nut that may be adaptable for use with various mating fasteners (e.g., bolts and screws). In one embodiment, the universal hardware nut comprises a nut body, wherein the nut body is manufactured from a pliable material; and one or more slots, wherein the one or more slots allow the nut body to accept fasteners of different sizes and shapes. In alternate embodiments, the universal hardware nut may comprise a sized hole instead of the one or more slots, or may comprise a combination of a sized hole and one or more slots.
Fastener and interface card
A fastener including a screw part and a handle part. The screw part includes a head portion and a body portion that are connected to each other. A diameter of the body portion is smaller than a diameter of the head portion. The head portion includes a recess on a side of the head portion located away from the body portion. The handle part is pivotally connected to the head portion and pivotable between an operation position and a bent-down position. When the handle part is in the operation position, the handle part is partially located on a side of the head portion located away from the body portion. When the handle part is in the bent-down position, the handle part is located away from the side of the head portion located away from the body portion.
