3-D-printed components including fasteners and methods for producing same
One aspect is an apparatus including an additively manufactured first component and a captive nut contained within the first component for interconnecting the first component to a second component. Another aspect is an apparatus including a first additively manufactured component having a hole and a second additively manufactured component having a socket. The apparatus further includes a pin having a head engaging a surface of the first component and a shaft extending from the head through the hole in the first component and into the socket of the second component. Another aspect is an apparatus including first and second panels. The apparatus also includes a bolt having a head and a shaft extending from the head and a nut located at a distal end of the shaft. The first and seconds panels may be sandwiched between the bolt and nut to interconnect the first and second panels.

The body includes a cylindrical portion and a conical portion, the cylindrical portion spacing the conical portion from the head. A plurality of threads extend along the entire length of cylindrical portion.
Tire Screw - The Simple Flat Fix
The invention is an apparatus used to fill a tire tread puncture hole. The device simply screws into the tread puncture hole with insertion key to block air leakage. Once the invention is properly inserted, the tire may be refilled with air and get back on the road.
Crack-proof screw
A crack-proof screw includes a thread formed around a shank. A helical notch continuously and helically extends along the shank and is indented into the shank and the thread. The helical notch is proximal to but spaced apart from a tip of the shank. The notch is trapezoidal in cross section, and has a notch bottom, an open end opening at an outer peripheral surface of the shank oppositely of the notch bottom, and two opposite notch walls extending divergingly from the notch bottom to the open end. The open end is larger in width than the notch bottom. A method of making the screw is also disclosed.

On the thread section, multiple successive thread terms are formed on a shell surface of the thread core. In the region of the thread section, multiple elevations are arranged on the outside of the shell surface of the thread core.
