Hub and secondary driving element shaft locking system
A drive hub includes a body and lugs that extend radially from the body and are engageable with a primemover of a primary power source. The lugs have a fastening lug that includes a radially extending bore. A hybrid, single piece setscrew extends within the bore and has a hemispherical portion configured to apply pressure to engage the drive hub to a shaft of a secondary power source.
MOUNTING DEVICE FOR A METAL ROOF
A mounting device or clamp is provided that can be secured to a roof joint without damaging the roof joint. Two roof panels can be joined at a roof joint that extends away from the roof. The clamp has a body with a slot to receive the roof joint. An insert of the clamp is rotatable relative to the body from a first position to a second position. The clamp body can be positioned over the roof joint, and the insert can rotate or pivot from the first position to the second position relative to the body to secure the clamp to the roof joint. In one embodiment, a body of the clamp has a first arm that is concave and the insert has a concave portion to engage the roof joint. Alternatively, in another embodiment, the insert can be connected to the clamp body such that either a first projection or a second projection of the insert faces a roof joint.
ADAPTER FOR MOUNTING CABLE HANGERS
An adapter for a cable hanger includes: a housing having a floor, a vertical wall extending generally perpendicularly from the floor, and side walls extending generally perpendicularly from the floor and vertical wall, each of the side walls including a finger extending generally parallel to the floor, the fingers including first engagement features, the vertical wall including a mounting hole; and a plunger having a main panel and second engagement features on opposite sides of the main panel, the second engagement features configured to engage the first engagement features to restrict relative movement of the plunger relative to the housing.
SPACER
An apparatus comprising an inner part including an external thread and a slot with a non-circular cross section in a plane perpendicular to the screw axis of the external thread. The slot is configured to locate an elongate member with a corresponding non-circular cross section, such that when located in the slot the elongate member is rotatably fixed relative to the slot. The apparatus further comprises an outer part including an internal surface that comprises a threaded portion, wherein the outer part is configured to threadably rotate around the inner part.
Conveyor with guide rails to support a divert unit
A conveyor that includes a conveyor frame, a first guide rail assembly, a divert unit having a switch assembly, and an alignment key is described. In this regard, the first guide rail assembly is positioned on a first portion of the conveyor frame such that rails of the first guide rail assembly extends along a length of the conveyor. In some examples, the first guide rail includes a first guide rail and a second guide rail positioned parallel to the first guide rail. Further, the first guide rail defines a groove along a length of the first guide rail assembly. Furthermore, according to some examples, the switch assembly defines a key slot. The key slot is adapted to enable the alignment key to pass through the key slot and further into the groove of the first guide rail, thereby, aligning the switch assembly on the first guide rail.
Tubing support system
A mechanism for securing tubes in a fixed position is described wherein a body to which a tube is to be fixed has at least one smooth bore hole extending therethrough. A tube has an inner diameter accommodating fluid flow and an outer diameter passing through the smooth bore hole in slip fit relation with the smooth bore of the hole. A threaded hole with helical grooves is parallel to the smooth bore hole and located such that its grooves intersect the diameter of the smooth bore hole. A set screw made of a tougher material than the tube has threads that will seat in the threaded hole in a manner such that advancing the set screw scratches the outer diameter of the tube to a depth wherein the set screw retains the tube in place without deformation of the inner diameter of the tube whereby fluid flow in the tube is not affected by advancement of the set screw while the tube is retained in place by the set screw. The invention can connect tubes in all sorts of patterns with many center-to-center tube distances.
Intravenous (IV) bag hanger with ligature-resistance
A ligature-resistant bag hanger for supporting an intravenous (IV) bag prevents formation of ligatures over an IV pole and on the bag support hooks. Internal components of the ligature-resistant IV bag hanger are enclosed in a housing. The internal components of the ligature-resistant bag hanger include one or more bag support hooks that have an extension portion extending from an interior of the housing and that are rotatable around an axle located within the housing. In a reset position, the bag support hook(s) support(s) an intravenous bag in a saddle portion of the hook up to a threshold weight limit. In a triggered position, initiated by a downward force in excess of the threshold weight limit rotating the hook downward, the hook rotates so that an attempted ligature formed above the saddle portion of the hook is released by retraction of the saddle portion of the within the housing.
Metal decking hanger
A hanger for suspending a load from a metal decking is described. A first hanger includes a body having ends that may be placed between opposing metal decking grooves and a separate assembly placed through an aperture in the body and adapted to support a load. The hanger thus permits the load to move side-to-side in the hanger, thus lessening the impact of seismic events on the hanger. A second hanger attaches two bodies, each having ends that may be placed between opposing metal decking grooves and a separate assembly placed through an aperture in the body used to attach the bodies to a strut channel. An additional assembly attached to strut channel is adapted to support a load. A hanger and method are also presented for preventing damage to concrete-filled metal decking hangers resulting from a seismic event.
Cylinder cover for internal combustion engine
Cylinder cover for an internal combustion engine, comprising a cylinder head, a cylinder head cover, an intermediate flange arranged between the cylinder head and the cylinder head cover, a plurality of fasteners for fastening the cylinder head cover and the intermediate flange to the cylinder head. The plurality of fasteners comprising a first fastener having a first head with internal threads, and a first shaft with first external threads, and a second fastener comprising a second head, and a second shaft with second external threads. The first fastener fastens the intermediate flange to the cylinder head and the second fastener fastens the cylinder head cover to the intermediate flange.
FLUID END ASSEMBLY
A fluid end having its fluid flow bores sealed without threading a retaining nut into the walls of each bore. The fluid ends may be assembled using a plurality of different kits, each kit comprising a fluid end body, a component, a retainer element, and a fastening system. The retainer element holds the component within each of the bores formed in the fluid end body and the fastening system secures the retainer element to the body. The fastening system comprises a plurality of externally threaded studs, washers and nuts in some embodiments. In other embodiments, the fastening system comprises a plurality of screws.
