FASTENING TOOL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A fastening tool system includes a housing including a main body having a proximal end and a distal end. The main body defines an internal chamber extending between a proximal opening at the proximal end and a distal opening at the distal end. A plunger includes a stem that extends into the internal chamber through the proximal opening. The plunger is configured to be moved in relation to the main body between a retracted position and an extended position. A securing stud is in a collapsed position when the plunger is in the retracted position. The plunger is configured to move into the extended position to engage the securing stud to expand the securing stud into an expanded position.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR SECURING A WEAR ELEMENT IN A SUPPORT IN AN EARTH MOVING MACHINE
A locking device for securing a wear element in a support in an earth moving machine, comprising a central shaft with a first right hand threaded segment and a second left hand threaded segment, locking elements screwed onto the threaded segments and screwing means at the ends of the central shaft and accessible from the outside through the locking elements. Both threaded segments are attached to one another by coupling means that are suitable for transmitting rotational movement between both threaded segments. The coupling means comprise a disc with two faces, each of them opposite one end of the threaded segments. Between each of the faces and the end of the threaded segment there is a tongue and groove extending to a first diameter and a second diameter, respectively, such that the disc and the threaded segments are suitable for moving with respect to one another.
Fastener with center for limiting engagement
Embodiments of the disclosure relate to an apparatus that disengages a tool and indicates undesired contact. More specifically, the embodiments of the disclosure relate to a fastener that limits over insertion, indicates over insertion, and limits undesired contact of that fastener with a surface. Further, the apparatus can limit damage to an underlying component such as a circuit board. The apparatus has a shank having a cavity extending through the shank. Additionally, the shank has a recess for installation by a tool. A slider is positioned within the shank wherein the slider can limit engagement with the recess and indicate a condition.

Centering bolt
Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a bolt comprising: a body having a head, a circumferential sidewall, a central bore extending at least a portion of a length of the bolt, and a plurality of slots extending through the sidewall from the bore, a plurality of positioning arms at least partially located within an interior of the bolt, and a screw seated within the head, where a position of the screw within the head controls an extent to which the plurality of the positioning arms are extended through the sidewall.
THREADED CONNECTING MEMBER AND THREADED CONNECTING STRUCTURE WITH RADIATING FUNCTION
The present invention provides a threaded connecting member and a threaded connecting structure with a radiating function. Since a radiating passage which extends along a length direction of the threaded connecting member is provided on the threaded connecting member and the radiating passage runs through one end of the threaded connecting member to the other end of the threaded connecting member, when the threaded connecting member with the radiating function provided by the present invention is used, the threaded connecting member is provided in a connecting hole in a connector in a penetrating manner, the radiating passage communicates spaces on two sides of the connector, gas in the spaces on the two sides of the connector can perform heat exchange through the radiating passage and thereby the heat diffusion capability of a connected device is improved.
Length-determined standardized reinforcing bar integrated with butt joint device, and method for constructing reinforcing bar structure by using same
Disclosed are a length-determined standardized reinforcing bar integrated with a butt joint device, and a method of constructing a reinforcing bar structure by using the same, wherein after determining a material and a diameter of a reinforcing bar, a determined standardized length measurement, which is a length standard from one end to the other end, is determined and imparted to a reinforcing bar to be cut, and the reinforcing bar is cut to a determined standardized length in accordance with the imparted length measurement, and once the type of a butt joint device for butt-jointing the reinforcing bar cut to the determined standardized length is determined, the butt joint device is formed at, and integrated with, one end or both ends of the reinforcing bar cut to the standardized length by the determined standardized length.
Captive screw
One fastener has a shaft with proximal and distal ends. Threading extends along the shaft from the distal end, and a head is at the proximal end. A channel passes entirely through the shaft such that a first lateral portion of the shaft is on one side of the channel and a second lateral portion of the shaft is on an opposite side of the channel. The channel is inset from the distal end. A hollow area in the shaft extends from the distal end toward the proximal end. The hollow area has a width that is greater than a width of the channel, and a biasing member is positioned inside the hollow area. An insert has an interior portion and an exterior portion. The interior portion is configured for positioning in the channel and the hollow area, and the exterior portion is configured to be located outside the shaft.
