HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT LOW FRICTION WASHER AND ASSEMBLY
A bolted joint for coupling two components that undergo thermal expansion and contraction includes a bolt having a head and a stem, the bolt configured to provide a clamping force between the two components. A first washer having a thermal resistant, low friction coating is configured to be disposed between one of the two components and the bolt head to enable the one component to slide relative to the bolt during the thermal expansion and contraction, while maintaining the clamping force, to facilitate preventing bending or shearing of the bolt.
Rotating shaft mechanism
A rotating shaft mechanism includes a first connecting portion, a second connecting portion, a central shaft rotatably connected to the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion, and an adjusting unit disposed on the central shaft. The adjusting unit includes an adjusting ring disposed around the central shaft, a first washer disposed around the central shaft and configured to generate a force to the first connecting portion or the second connecting portion. A position of the adjusting ring with respect to the central shaft is axially adjustable for adjusting the force so that the first connecting portion or the second connecting portion is rotatable or fixed relative to the central shaft.
SPRING WASHER FOR A VARIABLE FLOW RATE VALVE MECHANISM
A variable flow rate valve mechanism includes a valve, a lock member, a valve attachment member and a spring washer. The valve includes a valve body and a valve shaft. The lock member is fixed to the valve shaft. The valve attachment member is attached to the valve shaft. The spring washer is disposed adjacent the valve attachment member. The spring washer is formed into an annular shape around an axis of the spring washer. The spring washer includes a support portion, a deformable portion and a protrusion portion. The support portion includes a seat surface and an open surface. The deformable portion is connected to the support portion and extends in an inclined manner. The deformable portion includes a contact surface and an opposite surface. The protrusion portion protrudes from at least one of the open surface of the support portion and the opposite surface of the deformable portion.
Blind fastener
A blind fastener device for fastening at least two workpieces, including a sleeve, an expander having a tensioning section, a locking section, and an expansion section, and a nut. A portion of the expander passes through the sleeve to cooperate with the nut so that relative rotation of the expander and nut draws the expander's distal end toward the sleeve's proximal end thereby drawing a portion of the expansion section of the expander into a structural region located on the sleeve and expanding at least a portion of the sleeve's structural region, and drawing a portion of the locking section past the sleeve's distal end toward the sleeve's proximal end and deforming at least a portion of the sleeve's distal end to a locked state.
Washer-equipped screw
A washer-equipped screw is provided with a screw body, a metal washer, and a rubber washer. The screw body includes a cylindrical portion between a shaft portion on which a screw groove is formed and a head portion. A hole in the metal washer is inserted through the cylindrical portion so as to be adjacent to the head portion. A hole in the rubber washer is inserted through the cylindrical portion and positioned on a shaft portion side of the metal washer. A seat surface of the head portion has an inclined surface inclined away from the metal washer toward an outer periphery thereof.
FASTENING STRUCTURE
A fastening structure inserts a threaded rod 11a of a bolt 11 through a fixing hole 12a of a to-be-fixed member 12 in a manner such that an end portion of the threaded rod protrudes from the fixing hole, and screwing a machine screw 15 with a proper torque into a nut 14 which is provided on the end portion via a washer 13. The washer has an inclined surface 13c formed on a first side 13b which faces the nut, and has a flat surface formed on a second side 13d. The machine screw is screwed into the nut in a direction such that an axis is orthogonal to the inclined surface 13c. The first side (the inclined surface) and the second side of the washer have a different surface roughness, and the first side has a smaller coefficient of friction than the second side.
Connector mounting structure
A connector mounting structure for mounting a connector (10) including a connector housing (20) made of synthetic resin on a case (50) made of metal by a bolt (80) includes a tubular metal member (55), the bolt (80) being inserted through the metal member, the metal member being configured to contact a seating surface (83) of a head portion (81) of the bolt (80) with the bolt (80) tightened. The connector housing (20) is integrally provided with a mounting piece (30) with an insertion hole (37) through which the bolt (80) and the metal member (55) are to be inserted.
Device for introducing force into a component of fiber composite material
The invention relates to a device for introducing force into a component of fiber composite material by means of a screw connection having a bolt-like connecting element arranged in a passage of the component. The invention is based in particular on the problem of improving the durability of the screw connection on the component of fiber composite material. The object is achieved in that the screw connection has a two-part bush (6) which borders the passage (2) of the component (1) and accommodates the connecting element (9), wherein the first and the second bush part (6.1, 6.2) of the bush (6) are designed to engage in one another in axial extension, and each bush part (6.1, 6.2) has a radially extended union collar (15.1, 15.2) with a collar side (16.1, 16.2) facing the component (1), on which side a sliding surface is formed.
