FASTENER
A fastener to fasten a member to be fastened includes a shaft portion, a tool working surface, and an external operation restricting portion. The shaft portion is provided with a male thread configured to be rotated about an axis line to work so as to fasten the member to be fastened. The tool working surface is formed to a tool working portion integrated with the shaft portion. A tool to rotate the shaft portion works to the tool working surface. The external operation restricting portion is configured to restrict the rotation of the shaft portion through an operation from outside the fastener. In this fastener, the tool working surface to which the tool works is formed in an approximately cylindrical inner surface shape.
TAMPER-RESISTANT HOLE COVERING SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
Tamper-resistant, hole covering systems are provided. An exemplary system may include tamper-resistant coverings on the sides of a hole of an article to cover the hole and a tamper-resistant fastener that passes through the hole and securely connects the two coverings.
Flooring support system
A flooring substrate system that uses one of three substrate components upon which various types of finish flooring may be attached above a deck structure. The deck structure may be open lumber framed or may be a waterproofed planar surface. Affixation of the flooring system may be by direct connection or by gravitational placement. Height and slope adjustable components interlock through a plunge, twist and locking teeth arrangement to form supporting members beneath the substrate components. A base mounting plate acts as a pivotal point in the system, having recesses and engageable configurations on both its faces for other system components.

Reduced windage fastener assembly for a gas turbine engine
A fastener assembly for a gas turbine engine, and method of assembly, includes a first body having a first surface and a recess communicating through the first surface. The recess may be defined by a bottom surface and a side face spanning between the first and bottom surfaces. A shank of the assembly is generally engaged between the first body and a second body and includes opposite first and second end portions. The first end portion is located in the recess and the second end portion is engaged to the second body. A filler of the assembly is generally located in the recess to cover the first end portion. To reduce windage, the filler has an outer surface that is substantially flush with the first surface.
COUNTERBORE PROTECTION DISH FOR MOUNTING WITHOUT INTERFERENCE
The invention relates to a protection dish (32) for a counterbore formed in an aircraft mechanical part, said protection dish (32) having an axial cross-section about an axis (A) having substantially the shape of a U, and comprising a substantially annular wall (34) of axis (A) and a substantially cylindrical rim (36) of axis (A) connected to an outer periphery of said substantially annular wall (34). characterised in that said dish (32) is configured to be deformed in response to an axial stress (F) of a determined intensity applied on the substantially annular wall (34) thereof from a first state, wherein the substantially cylindrical rim (36) has a first transverse dimension (E) relative to axis (A), to a second state, wherein the substantially annular wall (34) being deformed, the cylindrical rim (36) has a second transverse dimension (E) relative to the axis (A) that is greater than the first transverse dimension (E) along a transverse direction (T) determined relative to axis (A).
Assembly of two parts comprising a removable centring seat for an aircraft turbine engine
A turbine engine for an aircraft which includes, in general, at least one assembly made up of a first part wherein a second part is attached with an attachment device including a milled head applied to the first part and a body engaging with the second part in order to clamp the parts. The recess of the head of such an attachment device requires a boss on the first part, which is complex and expensive to produce using conventional techniques. Such a boss can be replaced with a removable seat having an opening through which the body passes and forming a recess for the head, a bearing surface for the head, and abutment device applied to the first part in order to prevent a movement of the seat towards the second part.
