Anchoring washer for an EME protection cap system
A cap system for enclosing a metallic fastener assembly extending through a structure, which includes a first securement mechanism positioned about a periphery of a washer of the metallic fastener assembly wherein the first securement mechanism includes a first tab member extending in a direction transverse to a plane of a surface of the washer and a second tab member extending in a direction transverse to the plane of the surface of the washer spaced apart from the first tab member about the periphery of the washer. Cap system further includes a cap member which includes a sidewall having an inner surface which defines a cavity dimensioned to receive the washer and defines a second securement mechanism complementary configured to engage the first securement mechanism; and an end of the sidewall of the cap member defines an opening which provides the washer to have access into the cavity.
Fastening element
A fastening element for connecting a first component to a second component may have a pin-like connecting element with a first fastening region and a second fastening region. The fastening element may also have a sleeve which is configured for insertion into a receiving opening of the first component. The fastening element may also have a compensation element which is provided with a receptacle for receiving the first fastening region and which is configured for insertion and adjustment in a longitudinal direction in the sleeve. At least one drive interface may be provided on the compensating element by which the compensating element can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction in the sleeve.

VEHICLE COMPONENT JOINING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle assembly includes a first component having a stand-off that provides a cavity. The stand-off protrudes from an insertion side of the first component. The stand-off includes at least one side wall that extends from a floor of the cavity to at least one outer surface of the stand-off. The assembly further includes a second component that contacts the first component at an interface. The cavity is configured to receive a mechanical fastener that joins the first component to the second component. A distance between the floor of the cavity and the interface is greater in some areas than in other areas such that a cross-sectional thickness at a bottom of the cavity is varied.
Spring-loaded fastening system for process chamber liners
A spring-loaded fastening system for fastening a liner to a structure, including a spring-loaded fastener with a cleat defining an interior cavity, a spring element disposed on a floor of the interior cavity, and a shoulder bolt with head portion disposed on the spring element, with a shoulder portion of the shoulder bolt extending through a mounting aperture in a floor of the interior cavity and a threaded portion of the shoulder bolt fastened to the structure. The system further includes a hanger pocket in a rear surface of the liner including a first portion with an opening large enough to accommodate a diameter of a lower portion of the cleat and not large enough to accommodate a diameter of an upper portion of the cleat, and a second portion adjoining the first portion with an opening large enough to accommodate the diameter of the upper portion of the cleat.
Contoured differential gear washer with defined fluid flow path
A differential with a washer for a gear in a differential housing includes an outer edge at a maximum radial distance from an axis, and an inner edge defining an opening, the inner edge defined in part by an innermost portion at a minimum radial distance from the axis and the inner edge having an outward portion spaced radially outwardly from the innermost portion. The washer also includes an axially and radially inclined sidewall extending at least part of the way between the outer edge and the innermost portion.
SERVICE TUBE LOCKING DEVICE
A service tube assembly comprises a service tube having a threaded end portion and a shoulder. The outer shoulder has a conical surface converging in a direction away from the threaded end portion. The threaded end portion is threadably engaged with a mating part. The mating part has a seat surface which cooperates with the shoulder of the service tube to form a conical seat. The assembly further includes a locking member having an outer conical surface complementary to the conical seat. A mechanical fastener is provided for releasably holding the locking member against the conical seat.
Wall Hook and Anchor Nail Fastening System
A hook mounting system of a unibody structure with three platforms that face an angled hole. The hook system includes nails adapted to be particularly suitable for mounting the hook and platform deformable inserts to receive the nails. The system is adapted for a rod hanging assembly. The system includes a nail having a non-circular shank portion and a head portion.
CONDENSER CORE, BUSHING, HIGH VOLTAGE APPLICATION AND METHOD OF PRODUCING BUSHING
A condenser core for being positioned around a high voltage main electrical conductor, the condenser core including an electrically insulating body; a longitudinal through hole for accommodating the main electrical conductor; a plurality of electrically conductive foils encircling the through hole and being surrounded by the body such that each foil is insulated from any other of the foils; a potential electrical conductor for establishing an electrical connection between one of the foils and the main electrical conductor when the main electrical conductor is accommodated in the through hole; and a fastening device configured to mechanically connect the potential electrical conductor to the main electrical conductor when the main electrical conductor is accommodated in the through hole. A bushing, a high voltage application and a method of producing a bushing are also provided.
Photovoltaic panel cable mount arrangement
A mount system for a supporting a plurality of photovoltaic panels includes a plurality of stanchions. Each stanchion is spaced apart from other stanchions in a linear stanchion array having first and second ends. Each stanchion includes a vertical member and a transverse member supported by the vertical member. The transverse member has a plurality of support points. The system includes a plurality of anchor arrangements. A first anchor arrangement is located proximate the first end and a second anchor arrangement is located proximate the second end. The system includes a plurality of cables. Each cable is under tension and extends between the first and second anchor arrangements.
