Sealing system for fasteners
A method and apparatus for sealing a fastener that extends through a surface. The apparatus comprises a housing having a base and cap, wherein the cap is configured to cover a portion of a fastener extending through a surface, and wherein the housing is configured to apply suction to the surface.
COMPOSITE THREADED STANDOFF UNIT
A composite standoff unit for attaching on a mounting surface includes a bottom platform, a standoff column, and threaded portion formed within the standoff column. The bottom platform includes a bonding surface configured to be attached with the mounting surface. The bonding surface includes a plurality of nubs of predefined dimension disposed in a spaced apart manner. The nubs define a bond-line thickness between the bonding surface and the mounting surface. The standoff column extends vertically from bottom platform. The standoff column is formed with an inner cavity that has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is formed adjacent to the bottom platform, and the threaded portion is disposed adjacent to the distal end on the inner cavity.
Securing system
A securing system includes a fastener and a tape. The fastener includes a main body portion having a first end and a second end, a curved portion extending from the first end, first and second legs extending from the second end, and a roller extending between the first and second legs. The tape may extend around the roller and may be self-adhering.
Mounting bracket for strain sensor
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a system for mounting a strain sensor on a tubular pipe, which includes a mechanical clamp. The clamp has a bottom flexing section having an arcuate portion terminating at a first terminal and at a second end, and a first and second upper flexing sections having an arcuate portions terminating at first terminal ends and at second terminal ends in a pivot pin assembly having a bore parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the clamp, the bore there through for receiving a removable connector. Sensor mounting arms are disposed outwardly on the first and second upper flexing sections, said sensor mounting arms including at least one receptacle sized to receive and retain ends of a strain gauge.
Magnetic mounting system and method
The disclosure includes in one aspect a mounting sticker comprising a non-adhesive front side defined by a planar sticker body and a rear side defined by the planar sticker body and including a planar magnetically receptive member disposed thereon with the magnetically receptive member completely peripherally surrounded by a portion of the sticker body, at least a portion of the sticker body defining the rear side comprising an adhesive. The sticker body can define a teardrop shape having a circular head portion with a peeling tip extending from the head portion and terminating at a point defined by an acute angle or can be circular.
Latch
A latch for coupling a first object to a second object is disclosed comprises a primary block coupled to the first object. A locking cam is rotatably coupled to the primary block. A cam track having a sloped surface is in the locking cam. A locking stem slideably engages the primary block and traverses the locking cam. A cam pin is coupled to the locking stem. The cam pin slidably engages the sloped surface for displacing the locking stem between an extended position and a retracted position. A stem head is coupled to the cam pin. A secondary block is coupled to the second object. A cam channel is in the secondary block for receiving the locking stem. A head receiver is in the secondary block for engaging the stem head. The extended position defines an unlocked position and the retracted position defines a locked position.
Resuable hanging device
A reusable hanging device includes: an adhesion layer, a plate layer, and a hook body. Wherein, the adhesion layer is a low stickiness soft plastic made of a thermoplastic elastomer composite material, and it is vacuum-absorbed onto a smooth surface of a wall or a smooth surface of a wall having tiny bumps, by means of the super strong friction force produced on the smooth surface of a wall by the atmospheric pressure. The plate layer is made of hard material, formed integrally on a surface of the adhesion layer. And the hook body is also made of hard material, formed integrally on a surface of the plated layer. In application, the adhesion layer is absorbed onto a smooth surface of a wall by vacuum, the super strong friction force thus produced enables the hook body to hang object of 0?112.6 kgf.
Perforated panel connection
A server enclosure having a plurality of panels abutted to one another and constrained by a connector having a channel and at least one aperture. Each respective panel has at least one perpendicular portion being perpendicular to a face of the respective panel and adjoining a perimeter of the respective panel. Connectivity media coincident to the aperture can affix at least two panels and a connector to one another.
Furniture stabilizing assembly
A furniture stabilizing assembly for keeping furniture level on a support surface includes at least one spacer that may be inserted between a leg of furniture and a support surface. Thus, the furniture may sit level on the support surface. The at least one spacer has an adjustable height. Thus, the at least one spacer may space the leg of furniture a selected distance from the support surface.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A MOUNTING TOOL
Embodiments disclosed herein describe fracturing methods and systems to temporarily mount an object to a flat surface without damaging the object or the flat surface.
