Wall Mountable Bracket Assembly
A bracket assembly isolates shear forces from fasteners to realize the full tensile load capability of the fasteners. The fasteners extend from a base plate and are embedded within a structure such as a poured concrete wall. Receptacles defined by the base plate receive bosses which extend from a mounting plate which overlies the base plate. The fasteners also retain the mounting plate to the base plate. Shear forces applied in the plane of the mounting plate are reacted between the bosses and the receptacles, the fasteners being isolated from the shear forces using oversized holes in the mounting plate to ensure that the fasteners experience primarily tensile loads.

Holder
Holder (1) for releasably connecting a handle to a tool (2), in which the holder (1) comprises a space (3) in which a handle end is introducible, in which this space (3) comprises a wall surface with one or more projecting cutting elements (5a, 5b) for cutting complementary screw thread by means of which the one or more cutting elements (5a, 5b) are releasably connectable, in which the holder (1) comprises a coupling portion (6) comprising the one or more cutting elements (5a, 5b) and a retaining portion (7), in which the coupling portion (6) is made of a first material comprising plastic and the retaining portion (7) is made of a second material, in which the hardness of the first material is greater than the hardness of the second material.
Fastening system
The invention relates to a device for holding a head of a pin of a component, said device having a receiving space which defines an opening via which the head of the pin can be inserted; a spring element disposed in the receiving space; and a path limiter which is disposed in the receiving space. The spring element has a receptacle for the head of the pin of the component, and the straight line which connects the geometric center point of the opening to the geometric center point of the receptacle forms a reference line. A curved or bent receiving section of a spring arm of the spring element is provided as part of the receptacle. The receiving section has at least one distance point which is arranged furthest from the reference line than other points along the extension of the curved or bent receiving section.
Expandable diameter fastener
A fastener system for use in securing objects, such as stress skinned panels, to a structural support, such as an aircraft spar or cross member. The fastener system includes a radially-expandable collar assembly.
Connection device for interconnecting two components made of plastics material
A connection device for interconnecting two components of plastics material is provided. The components include a first wall and a second wall, which have respective edges arranged against one another, when the two components are assembled. The device includes at least one clip on the first wall and extending beyond the edge thereof, at least one first tooth and at least one second tooth on the second wall and designed to be snap engaged by the clip when the two components are in the pre-assembled state and in the assembled state, respectively. The first tooth is closer than the second tooth to the edge of the second wall such that, when pre-assembled, the two components are connected by the edges of the first wall and the second wall, the edges being spaced apart from one another. The first tooth has an inclined locking face for facilitating decoupling of the two components.
Integrally formed thread lock retention feature
A laundry appliance includes a basement housing comprising a capacitor receiver. A capacitor is disposed within the capacitor receiver to define a secured position. The capacitor receiver includes at least one retaining flange that is coupled to the basement housing via a living hinge. At least one retaining flange is outwardly biased away from a body of the capacitor when the capacitor is placed in an inserted position. At least one retaining flange includes a thread-engaging surface that operates to the secured position upon rotation of the capacitor in the inserted position.
EXPANDABLE DIAMETER FASTENER
A fastener system for use in securing objects, such as stress skinned panels, to a structural support, such as an aircraft spar or cross member. The fastener system includes a radially-expandable collar assembly.
Ready to assemble recliner
A RTA recliner where the recliner mechanism is attached to various component parts through tool-less connections. In a disassembled configuration, the RTA recliner mechanism and component parts are constructed and arranged to fit within a substantially rectangular container with greater volume utilization. Components include, but are not limited to, a drive tube assembly and a handle assembly.
Combustion quenching fastener caps with holes
A cover that extends over a fastener and methods of installing the cover over the fastener. The cover includes an open end positioned at a member from which the fastener extends. The cover also includes a closed end that extends over the fastener and shields the fastener from the exterior environment that can be combustible. A plurality of holes extend through the cover from the interior space to an exterior environment external to the cap.
