Medical holding arm
A medical holding arm, comprising at least one joint with two joint bodies which are rotatable relative to each other about a rotational axis (D), wherein a first of the joint bodies has a plurality of locking pins and a second of the joint bodies has a plurality of locking recesses, the number of locking pins differs from the number of locking recesses, the locking pins each have an axially tapered engagement part, the locking recesses are respectively formed axially tapered to selectively receive each of the engagement parts for locking the joint, and when the joint is locked, at least one of the locking pins is received with its tapered engagement part completely in one of the tapered locking recesses, while at least one of the other locking pins is received with its tapered engagement part only partially in one of the other tapered locking recesses.
System for adjusting torsional frequency of a power train
A load coupling device for a power train including: a rotatable shaft; a first flange on a first end of the shaft, wherein the first flange is adapted to couple to a first rotating shaft of at a torque producing turbine or a torque driven electrical generator; a second flange on an opposite end of the shaft, wherein the shaft is adapted to couple to a second rotating shaft of the other of the turbine and the generator, and an annular ring extending radially outward from the first flange, wherein the mass of the annular ring is selected to shift a torsional natural frequency of the power train away from an operational condition of the power train. Trim masses may be added to make fine adjustments to the torsional natural frequency of the power train.
Electrical machine comprising a fastening flange
An electrical machine (12) comprising a fastening flange (10), wherein the fastening flange (10) has a rim (46), so that the fastening flange (10) is arranged on a housing part (14) of the electrical machine (12) in such a way that the fastening flange (10) surrounds the housing part (14) at least in sections in the circumferential direction (16) of the housing part (14) at least by way of the rim (46), wherein the fastening flange (10) has at least one radially directed raised portion (18) which is integrally formed from the fastening flange (10) and bears against the housing part (14), wherein at least one recess (47) is formed within the rim (46), wherein the recess (47) influences the rigidity of the fastening flange (10).
Joint for extruded panels
A joint for a housing for electrical components has a series of extruded panels connected edge to edge. The first edge includes a slot defined by an inner wall and an outer wall and the second edge includes a blade inserted into the slot, the blade and the flexible wall including cooperating shoulders. The blade and slot are at an angle to the outer surface where a rib engages into an outer recess to seal the outer surface at the joint. A bridging member spans the joint to prevent spreading, while locking the flexible wall and carrying internal components. The housing can form a post or a receptacle on top of the post. The bridging members connect to end plates by screws extending though the plates so as to form an internal structure for the housing. Some of the connected panels can include cooling fins forming a cooling duct.
Corner piece for mechanically interlocking frame members
A corner piece is provided for interconnecting frame members. The corner piece includes a first plate member defining an inner face, an opposite outer face, a first side face, an opposite second side face, and an end face. The first plate member including a bolt-receiving bore therethrough. A second plate member defines an inner face contiguous with the inner face of the first plate member, an outer face, a first side face, an opposite second side face, and an end face. The second plate member includes a bolt-receiving bore extending between the inner face and the outer face thereof along a first axis generally parallel to the inner face of the first plate member.
Electrical machines and methods of assembling the same
A motor component for coupling a motor to a work component is provided. The motor component includes a flange coupled to the motor; and an adapter coupled to the flange. The adapter includes a shaft aperture and a pattern of a plurality of through-holes disposed about the shaft aperture and configured to couple to a plurality of pads of the work component. A method of assembling an electrical machine to a work component includes coupling a motor component to a motor of the electrical machine. The method further includes aligning a pattern of a plurality of through-holes of the motor with at least one pad of a plurality of pads of the work component. The method includes coupling the pattern of the plurality of through-holes to the at least one pad of the plurality of pads of the work component.
SELECTED RESTRICTION OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SERVICES
Wireless communications services on a wireless communications device are selectively restricted in accordance with a location of the wireless device and specific permission and/or restrictions assigned to the wireless device while within/at the location. Services can be selectively blocked (denied), selectively modified, or selectively allowed on a wireless device based on lists indicating permissibility for specific services for specific devices at/within specific locations. A location can be a zone of coverage of a cellular tower, micro/pico/Femto cell or wireless access point, a sector of a zone of coverage, a geographic region within a zone of coverage, or any appropriate combination thereof.
Method of flange alignment
A method of aligning flanges on two components to align and transfer torque from one component to the other uses a plurality of scallop regions on the periphery of a flange on one component; and a plurality of raised regions on the periphery of a flange on the other component, the raised regions being sized and shaped to engage the scallop regions on the flange when axially aligned to transfer torque there between.
DEVICE FOR THE MUTUAL FIXING OF TWO COMPONENTS
A device is provided for the mutual fixing of two components, which are interconnected via a flanged joint, for preventing a relative movement of the components in relation to each other in the connecting plane of the flanged joint. The device includes a key which engages in both components in a form-fitting manner in the region of the flanged joint. A simplified and flexible application is achieved by the key being guided in one of the components by means of a precision fit, whereas in the other of the components the form fit can be adjusted by adding shims.
Fastener for Use with Ultraviolet Light Sensitive Adhesive
A fastener configured to be attached to a panel and to support an item. The fastener has a body constructed from a first material and with the body having an opening that extends into the body at a first end. A flange constructed from a second material is connected to the body and sized to extend laterally outward beyond the body. The first material has a higher melting point than the second material. The first material has a lower transmissibility of UV light than the second material.
