Modular building units, and methods of constructing and transporting same
A lower connector includes a lower connector hollow body, a pair of lower connector bosses coupled to the lower connector hollow body, and a pair of lower connector arms coupled to the lower connector bosses. A connector assembly includes an upper connector coupled to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors.
Base corner piece for single-handed mounting on a switch cabinet
The invention relates to a base corner piece for single-handed mounting on a switch cabinet, comprising a supporting portion that can be screwed to a frame profile of the switch cabinet in a mounted position of the base corner piece, and is characterized in that the base corner piece has means for pre-mounting of the base corner piece on the frame profile in the mounted position, comprising means for spatial orientation of the base corner piece in relation to the frame profile and means for releasable latching of the base corner piece to the frame profile.
Method and system for interconnecting structural panels
Building or structural panels may be joined, such as to form walls or floors. The panels may be connected in various orientations via one or more connectors. The connectors may mount to anchors associated with the panels. The panels may have outer skins located over an expanded core comprising a matrix of supporting elongate members and voids or openings, with the anchors located at edges of the panels.
Coupling member for scaffoldings
A coupling member includes a hook-shaped coupling part arranged to be hooked into a gripping part of an upright and a locking arrangement switchable between a locking position and a release position. Further, the locking arrangement includes a pivotally attached first clamping part and a wedge-shaped locking part, which is slidable between a locking position and a release position. The wedge-shaped locking part is arranged to push the first clamping part towards the upright and the gripping part by means of wedge action. Moreover, the first clamping part comprises two transversally spaced apart side parts which jointly define a cavity there between. The first clamping part is arranged externally on the hook-shaped coupling part, and is arranged partly within the cavity. Further, each of the side parts includes fastening means for pivotal attachment of the first clamping part to the hook-shaped coupling part.
LOWER CORNER CONNECTOR FOR MODULAR SPORTS GOAL
A lower corner connector for a modular sports goal comprises a first tube having a generally circular inner surface and a second tube extending substantially perpendicularly to the first tube. The first tube has an open end for receiving an upright and a base opposite the open end for resting on a surface. A retainer projects inwardly from the inner surface of the first tube for engaging and retaining the upright and permitting the upright to rock toward and away from the second tube within the first tube to assist in absorbing impact forces.
Corrugated Fiberboard Constructions
Among other things, a piece of furniture is formed from three separate precut pieces of flat cardboard. A first one of the pieces has a bottom edge to rest on a floor with the first piece rising vertically from the bottom edge and has at least one slot at an upper edge of the first piece. A second one of the pieces has a bottom edge to rest on the floor with the second piece rising from the bottom edge and having at least one slot at an upper edge of the second piece. A third one of the pieces has a crease across the piece and at least two slots along at least one edge that is parallel to the fold. The piece of furniture is formed by mating the one slot in the first piece with one of the slots of the third piece, folding the third piece of cardboard at the crease, and mating the one slot in the second piece with another one of the slots of the third piece, with the third piece folded along the crease.
Solar array support structure, mounting rail and method of installation thereof
Disclosed herein is a mounting rail for a solar array support structure that includes a main body having a top and a bottom, the main body extending from a first end to a second end. The mounting rail further includes a solar panel mounting portion extending along the top of the main body, the solar panel mounting portion configured to secure the solar panel to the mounting rail. The mounting rail further includes a first flange extending from the bottom of the first vertical element, the first flange including a first pair of holes configured to receive two ends of a U-bolt, the first pair of holes spaced apart substantially equal to a width of the horizontal rail. A method of installing a solar array support structure using the mounting rail is further disclosed.
Integral truss plate connector
A connection is formed between a held member and a holding member with the use of a connector and one or more fasteners. In one aspect, the connector has a main body that has integral nail prong fasteners. In one aspect, the main body of the connector is attached to the held and holding members by means of double-shear fastening. In one aspect, the main body is formed with a bendable end flange to attach the connector to the holding member. In one aspect, the main body is formed with a nail guide for directing the fastener at an angle to the main body.
MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR BUILDING PANELS
Panels are shown which are provided with a mechanical locking system allowing perpendicular connection with a snap action. A set of panels including a first and a second panel, an edge of the second panel is insertable into a groove of the first panel, when the panels are arranged essential perpendicular to each other, to obtain a mechanical connection between the first and the second panel, when the second panel is displaced essentially perpendicularly to the first panel.
