MAGNETIC RAIL WITH LASER
A mount assembly including a rail, a mount configured to secure the rail to a surface, a laser assembly. The laser assembly includes a laser projector. The laser assembly is slidable along the rail.
COMPUTING DEVICES AND MOUNTS ATTACHABLE BY MAGNETIC COUPLING
A computing device and a device mount. The computing device includes a device casing having a front side and a back side and the device mount has a mount end formed with a mount face sized to fit within a recessed portion of the back side of the device casing in contact with a recessed face of the back side of the device casing. The computing device includes permanent magnets to secure the computing device to the mount face by magnetic coupling between with one or more corresponding magnets in the device mount. One of the recessed face or the mount face is formed from a thermoplastic resin and includes a plurality of raised portions. The raised portions project above the recessed face or the mount face, as the case may be, and have a thickness sufficiently small that the raised portions deform under contact between the mount face and the recessed face due to force of the magnetic coupling.
REPOSITIONABLE BAG-RETAINING DEVICE
Aspects described herein include an apparatus for retaining a bag, and a related checkout system. The apparatus comprises a base portion that is positionable, by a user, at any of a plurality of positions along a surface. The base portion comprises one or more attachment members operable by the user to removably attach the base portion to the surface at a selected position of the plurality of positions. The apparatus further comprises a support portion projecting upwardly from the base portion, and one or more arms projecting outwardly from the support portion. The one or more arms are dimensioned to receive one or more handles of the bag.
LOCKING SNAP-IN FASTENERS
A fastener assembly for releasable interconnecting two objects comprises a retainer having means at the top end for attaching the retainer to a first object and an end wall at the bottom end having an aperture. A post affixed to a second object at its bottom end is captured within a central cavity of the retainer by resilient snap fit wherein either the post or the retainer is radially deflectable. A locking element slidably connected to the retainer is axially moveable between locked and unlocked positions operative to restrict the relative radial movement of the post and the retainer to prevent the removal of the post. The locking element maybe a pin moved by a magnet and extendable into a bore of the post by a spring. Alternatively, the locking element may be a sleeve closely fitted around the outside of the retainer.
Crash-ready, portable, compartmentalization device
A crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device may include a shell which includes a first half shell and a second half shell. The first half shell and the second half shell may have substantially similar dimensions and define an interior space and an exterior space. One or more pouches may be removably coupled to the shell in the interior space. The crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device may be relocated throughout the interior of an emergency vehicle when used with an equipment mounting system or taken to the field for use away from the emergency vehicle. The individual pouches may also be removed and replaced with stocked pouches to replenish the crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device.
Magnetically-actuated latch mechanism for display module
A display module comprises a support, a plurality of light-emitting elements coupled to the support and a latch mechanism to removeably couple the support to a chassis. The latch mechanism includes a movable member, a latch member, and a linkage mechanism. The movable member is moved from a first position to a second position when magnetically engaged by a tool magnet. The latch member moves between a first latch member position and a second latch member position and can engage a chassis mating structure when in the first latch member position. The linkage mechanism mechanically connects the movable member to the latch member so that they move together such that the latch member is in the first latch member position when the movable member is in the first position and is in the second latch member position when the movable member is in the second position.
MOUNTING MEMBER WITH IC TAG
Provided is a mounting member with an IC tag, the mounting member being easily manufactured and configured so as to not have constraints in terms of attachment orientation. The mounting member with an IC tag is provided with: a shaft-shaped section 1 having a shaft-shaped insert part 11 and a base part 12 which is formed by one end section of the insert part 11 protruding in the width direction; an IC tag 2 fixed to a surface 123 of the base part 12; and a resin head part 3 which is molded to at least the surface 123 side of the base part 12 so as to seal the IC tag 2. Male threads are preferably formed on the insert part 11.
CONNECTING SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING COMPONENTS IN AN AIRCRAFT
A connecting system for connecting components in a vehicle includes a first elongate element with a first connecting face at a first end, and a second elongate element with a second connecting face at a second end. The first and second elements each comprise holding devices distributed along an annular connecting line. The connecting faces are congruent. The connecting faces and holding devices are configured to be brought into a flush superficial contact when the orientations of the elongate elements coincide, and the mutually opposing holding devices then connect with one another. One of the elements has a length adjustment component configured to change a position of the respective connecting face in a longitudinal direction of the respective element. The connecting faces comprise at least one pair of connectable interfaces which correlate with one another in pairs for transfer of a fluid, electrical or optical signals or electrical current.
TARGET SUPPORT TOOL
A target support tool includes: a base member including a first arm and a second arm connectable to each other to form a bent therebetween; a magnetic support part at least on the first arm; and a retroreflector at the bent of the base member.
Spanner for simultaneously gripping a plurality of fasteners and a method for simultaneously gripping a plurality of fasteners
A spanner for simultaneously gripping a plurality of fasteners. The spanner includes a body, the body having a plurality of spaced apart fastener grips for simultaneously gripping the plurality of fasteners. The spanner also includes at least one attachment member for attaching the spanner to a structure the fasteners attach to.
