HOUSING FOR A POWER SEMICONDUCTOR MODULE ARRANGEMENT
An arrangement includes a housing and a printed circuit board (PCB) arranged vertically above the housing. The housing includes: at least one protrusion attached to sidewalls and arranged on an outside of the housing at a lower end with at least one first through hole provided in the protrusion; holding devices each arranged inside a first through hole and/or between the PCB and the first through hole; and fastening elements configured to attach the housing to a heat sink or base plate. Each holding device is configured to clamp a corresponding fastening element such that the fastening elements are secured in defined positions, and to align each fastening element with a different first through hole. The PCB includes second through holes each arranged vertically above and aligned with a different fastening element. A diameter of each second through hole is less than the largest diameter of the respective fastening element.
EXPANDABLE, RESIN FILLED FASTENER, FASTENER SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
A fastener for improved electrical contact with a composite structure and improved distribution of electric current to the composite structure. The fastener includes an elongated shaft having a first end with a head portion, a second end with a threaded portion, and a shaft body therebetween. At least one feed channel extends from an opening at the threaded portion, through the shaft body, and terminates proximal to the head portion. The shaft body radially expands upon pressure injection of a resin filler into the feed channel, when the fastener is installed in a corresponding fastener hole formed in the composite structure. Upon radially expanding, the outer surface of the shaft body makes contact with an inner hole surface of the corresponding fastener hole, resulting in the fastener providing electrical contact with the composite structure and providing distribution of electric current.
FASTENER USING LUBRICATED INTERFERENCE FIT
The invention relates to a metallic fastener (10; 40) for the interference fit assembly of at least two structural elements (20, 22) comprising a through hole, the fastener comprising an enlarged head (12; 42), a shaft (14; 44) having an external diameter before installation that is greater than an internal diameter of the hole, said shaft comprising a conductive surface (26; 56). Before installation, at least the conductive surface (26; 56) is coated with a lubricating layer (30), which comprises a mixture of at least one polyolefin and one polytetrafluoroethylene, for example, having sufficient adherence to prevent its abrasion by manual manipulation of the fastener and being weak enough to be at least partly stripped from the conductive surface during the interference fit assembly of the fastener.
The invention further relates to a method for obtaining such a fastener and to a method for installing such a fastener in a structure.
The invention is applicable to the assembly of aircraft structures.
CONFORMAL CLEARANCE FIT FASTENER, FASTENER SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
A fastener includes an elongated shaft having a first end, a second end, and a shaft body, a head portion, and a threaded portion. At least one inner feed channel extends through the head portion and the shaft body and terminates proximal to the threaded portion. The fastener has a plurality of flutes formed along and circumferentially spaced around an outer surface of the shaft body and an outer surface of the head portion. Each flute has a first end and extends from a first location proximal to the threaded portion, along the outer surface of the shaft body, and radially outward along the outer surface of the head portion. The fastener further has one or more lateral feed channels formed laterally through the shaft body and connecting the inner feed channel to at least two opposing flutes on the outer surface of the shaft body.
FASTENING TOOL WITH EARTH FUNCTION
A fastening tool according to the invention includes: a female screw member (10) having an inverse screw that is fixed to the first member (1); a collar bolt (11) that is screwed with the female screw member (10); a fastening bolt (27) that is inserted into a center hole (19) of the collar bolt (11) from the second member side (2) and rotates the collar bolt (11) through a torque transmitter (25), thereby moving the collar bolt to a position colliding with the second member (2); and a fastening nut (33) that is fixed to the first member (1). An earth claw (21) protruding toward the second member (2) is formed at an outer periphery of an end surface of the collar bolt (11) facing the second member. The earth claw (21) is configured to bite into the second member (2) in an axial direction due to axial force generated by screwing the fastening bolt (7) with the fastening nut (33), thereby breaking an insulating coating layer (3) and thus ensuring electrical conduction.
Closing device with electrical contact
A closing device for releasably connecting two parts includes a first closing part which has a first engaging projection, and a second closing part which has a second engaging projections. The first closing part and the second closing part can be attached to each other in order to close the closing device and, in a closed position, are interconnected mechanically by the first engaging projection and the second engaging projection is in engagement with each other in a positive locking manner in the closed position. A magnetic device acting between the first closing part and the second closing part is designed to assist the attaching of the first closing part and the second closing part to each other by providing a magnetic attraction force. The first closing part has at least one first electrical contact element and the second closing part has at least one second electrical contact element.

One embodiment provides a system, including: an image display device comprising: a front side, a back side, a top side, a bottom side, a left side, and a right side; and a first guide mechanism disposed on the back side; a housing, comprising a base and an upper element; the upper element comprising: a groove running lengthwise and open at both ends; a back-plate running lengthwise and adjacent to the groove; and the back-plate having a second guide mechanism; wherein the image display device interfaces with the housing via the first guide mechanism and the second guide mechanism. A transducer includes a conductive sheet installed on a sheath of a cable, an insulative sheet installed on the conductive sheet, holes being formed in predetermined positions of the insulative sheet, and a conductive sheet installed on the insulative sheet, holes being formed in predetermined positions of the conductive sheet. The transducer has structure in which, when the cable is tightened by the screw from the top of the conductive sheet and fixed, the distal end of the screw comes into contact with the conductive sheet passing through the holes formed in the insulative sheet and the conductive sheet, and the conductive sheet and the conductive sheet are electrically connected.
