The subject of the invention is the physical work, shaped spatially, in the form of the system of two parts with the presented structure arranged in labyrinthine fixing fulfilling a mounting function without locking solution.

Labyrinthine system of fixing, being the subject of the invention, offers open solution for fixing of the two elements without its unintentional disconnection possibility.

According to the invention the Labyrinthine system of fixing is composed of its two parts: Labyrinth that can be built into a larger or smaller element and Erring Part that can be carried through Labyrinth Part the way described in the present patent description.

The Erring Part of the Labyrinthine system of fixing can be built into a larger or smaller element. Disconnection of fixed Erring and Labyrinth parts of the Labyrinthine system of fixing or in general, elements into which the Erring and Labyrinth parts are built in connected by the Labyrinthine system of fixing requires intentional action by carrying the Erring Part back the same way (described in the present patent description) as it was carried out to be fixed.

Labyrinth part is composed of two identical parts with the opposite orientation, crosswise separated by the channel being the part of the way the Erring Part of the Labyrinthine system of fixing is carried through and back for the purpose of connection or disconnection of two parts of the Labyrinthine system of fixing.

The Erring Part is designed the way to make it possible to carry the Erring Part through Labyrinth Part and place it in vertical orientation in Labyrinth Part fixing Labyrinth and Erring Parts of Labyrinthine system of fixing.

The second retaining portion has a second rounded portion that bulges out in a direction of a second end edge of the base plate. The first and second retaining members are made of a resilient material that flexes under a load and returns to an original position when the load is removed. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Test Equipment
20200292433 · 2020-09-17 ·

Jet fuels' thermal oxidation characteristics are evaluated via the Standard Test Method for Thermal Stability of Aviation Turbine Fuels. This test method mimics the thermal stress conditions encountered by jet fuel in operation and is often carried out by laboratory devices, known as rigs. The rigs include a test section having a sleeve and a heater tube arranged therein. A pair of bus bars secure the test section to the rig and apply a current to the heater tube. The applied current heats the heater tube and subjects the sample jet fuels that are flowing in the volume between the sleeve and heater tube to high temperatures, which may produce thermal oxidation deposits on the heater tube. Heater tubes are difficult to install, however, and a gauge may be used to ensure accurate placement of the heater tube within the sleeve. In addition, the fuel sample must be prepared via an aeration process, and systems are disclosed for automating the aeration process such that the sample is prepared precisely according to the test standard. Moreover, the rig includes a pump system that moves the fuel sample through the test section, and a pump system is provided in a double syringe arrangement that optimizes fuel flow through the test section without fluctuation. Finally, the rigs include cooling systems for cooling the bus bars and maintaining an appropriate thermal profile within the heater tube, and cooling systems may be provided that independently control the temperature of each bus bar.

External Tie-Rod Load Indicator

A load indicator apparatus which is compact, portable and detachably mounted on the tie-rod. The load indicator apparatus includes a first reference fixture configured for attachment at a first position on the tie-rod, a second fixture configured for attachment at a second position on the tie-rod and an elongation gauge extending between the first reference fixture and the second fixture and configured to measure displacement of the second fixture relative to the first reference fixture during elongation of the tie-rod. A displacement transducer is connected to the second fixture to measure a capacitance value proportional to the loading acting on the tie-rod and transfers it to a load monitoring unit which translates the measured capacitance into a visual load reading and an electronic load output value.

Closure detection system

A system and method for verifying a connection between a first and second connector. The system includes a transducer and a processor. The processor is configured to determine a velocity of the first connector when the first connector is moved to the second connector to form a coupling, calculate a time interval to the coupling based on the velocity detected at the set point and a position of the second connector, and receive, from the transducer, a signal during the time interval. The signal includes the sound generated when the coupling is formed. The processor analyzes the signal and identifies the sound of the coupling within the signal. The signal is filtered in the frequency domain and in the time domain, resulting in a filtered spectrogram. The spectrogram is compared to a pattern. The processor determines if the first and second connector are properly coupled based on the comparison.
