LENGTH-ADJUSTABLE CONNECTING ROD PROVIDED WITH A RESISTIVE TORQUE DEVICE
A length-adjustable connecting rod is disclosed having a longitudinal axis comprising a connecting-rod shank provided with at least one internal thread, at least one connecting element comprising an external thread cooperating with the internal thread of the connecting-rod shank, the screwing or unscrewing of the connecting-rod shank with respect to the connecting element allowing the length of the connecting rod to be adjusted, and at least one resisting torque device between the connecting-rod shank and the connecting element, the resisting torque device comprising at least one pressing element and a bearing element, the pressing element exerting a force on the bearing element that opposes a resistance to the rotational movement of the connecting-rod shank with respect to said connecting element. The bearing element is integral with the connecting element and the pressing element is integral with the connecting-rod shank.
Connecting rod for changing a compression ratio of an internal combustion engine
A connecting rod for changing a compression ratio of an internal combustion engine includes a connecting rod head, a connecting rod pin, and an interlock. The connecting rod pin is supported by an eccentric of the connecting rod at a variable distance within the connecting rod head. The connecting rod head or the connecting rod pin includes a fluid chamber and the eccentric has a projection extending into the fluid chamber. In the alternative, the eccentric delimits a fluid chamber and the connecting rod head or the eccentric has a projection extending into in the fluid chamber. A fluid pressure in the fluid chamber exerts a force on the projection to change the position of the eccentric. In a locking position, the interlock inhibits rotation of the eccentric relative to the connecting rod head and the interlock is configured to be releasable.

Force input member for a brake actuating device
A force input member for a brake actuating device of a vehicle brake system includes at least one first portion connected to the brake actuating device; at least one second portion connected to a brake pedal; and at least one coupling device. The at least one coupling device couples the first portion and the second portion to one another wherein the at least one coupling device is designed to permit a relative movement between the first portion and the second portion in the case of a force acting on the force input element which is greater than or equal to a predetermined release force.

Variable-length tie rod made of plastic material
A tie rod including a first tie rod part and a second tie rod part of plastic material, and a joint providing a length-adjustable connection between the first and second tie rod parts is provided. The joint includes a first and a second series of ribs made on the first and second tie rod parts, respectively. The first series of ribs is capable of engaging with the second series of ribs to define a relative longitudinal position of the first and second tie rod parts. The joint further includes a clip hinged to the first tie rod part and carrying the first series of ribs, the clip being foldable to snap onto the first tie rod part to lock an end of the second tie rod part within a seat of the first tie rod part.

Connecting rod assembly
A connecting rod assembly has a connecting rod with a large end and a small end, a piston wrist pin, and fasteners to connect the connecting rod to the piston wrist pin and optionally one or more shims in between the connecting rod and piston wrist pin. A notch on the wrist pin allows for the seating of a flat surface on the small end of the connecting rod in the connecting rod assembly. Side walls on both the notch and the small end of the connecting rod limit twist. The connecting rod assembly allows for the adjustment of piston location in a cylinder while limiting connecting rod twist.
