BEARING ASSEMBLY
Provided in one embodiment of the present invention is a bearing assembly comprising: an outer ring in which a hollow is formed and which has a protrusion protruding toward a central direction along the inner circumferential surface and a first ball contact portion and a second ball contact portion that are formed by the protrusion;
an inner ring having a third ball contact portion on the outer circumferential surface and forming a first track portion and a second track portion by being inserted into the hollow; and at least one bearing ball disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring to rotatably connect the outer ring and the inner ring, wherein the bearing balls are arranged in multiple rows in the first track portion and the second track portion and are configured to contact each of the ball contact portions.
Anti-bounce print deck for flexographic printing press
A device and a method is disclosed to maintain plate and anilox mandrel position stability in print decks of a flexographic printing press. In one aspect, the mandrel bearings associated with at least one of the plate roll and the anilox roll are preloaded for the purpose of eliminating backlash and increasing the positional stiffness of the bearings, and thus the mandrel. In another aspect, the roll drive motor control system is enabled to provide a torque additive command the torque profile to maintain rotational consistency and otherwise overcome torque transients experienced by the motor during print bounce. Accordingly, the problem commonly referred to as print bounce and or print banding is alleviated.
Bearing housing assembly for a blender jar
A blender assembly includes a blender jar having a bottom wall. The bottom wall includes first and second surfaces opposing one another and an interior edge defining an opening. A bearing housing is positioned at least partially within the opening and is spaced apart from the first surface of the bottom wall and the interior edge of the bottom wall. A nut is operably coupled with the bearing housing and is spaced apart from a second surface of the bottom wall. A gasket assembly is positioned to maintain a spacing of the bearing housing and the nut relative to the bottom wall. The gasket assembly is positioned over the interior edge of the bottom wall.
SLIDING BEARING, DRIVING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sliding bearing is made of a resin and includes a tubular portion that includes an outer peripheral surface including a D-cut surface. A flange portion, which protrudes from the D-cut surface, is formed at one end portion of the tubular portion. An engagement portion is formed at the other end portion of the tubular portion. A protruding portion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the tubular portion at a circumferential position that is outside a region in which the D-cut surface is formed and that is outside a region in which the engagement portion is formed.

Turbine engine bearing arrangement
An interdigitated turbine assembly for a gas turbine engine, the interdigitated turbine assembly including a first turbine rotor assembly interdigitated with a second turbine rotor assembly. A first static frame is positioned forward of the first turbine rotor assembly and the second turbine rotor assembly. The first turbine rotor assembly is operably coupled to an inner rotatable component of a gear assembly. The second turbine rotor assembly is operably coupled to an outer rotatable component of the gear assembly. The static structure is connected to the first static frame. A driveshaft is operably coupled to the outer rotatable component. A first bearing assembly is operably coupled to the driveshaft and the first static frame. A second bearing assembly is operably coupled to the first static frame and first turbine rotor assembly. A third bearing assembly is operably coupled to the first turbine rotor assembly and the second turbine rotor assembly.

ROLLER FOR DEFLECTING OR GUIDING A METAL STRIP, WHICH IS TO BE COATED, IN A METAL MELT BATH
A roller for deflecting or guiding a metal strip to be coated in a metal melt bath may include bearing journals disposed coaxially with one another for rotationally supporting the roller. To obtain a high coating quality while hot-dip coating the metal strip, in particular steel strip, and to increase the service life of such a roller, each bearing journal may comprise a plurality of axially spaced annular elevations that have or are formed from a plain-bearing coating. The roller may comprise a steel roller shell, and each bearing journal may include a substantially cylindrical or circular-disk-shaped connecting steel portion that extends radially in the direction of the roller shell. At least one of the connecting portions may comprise a passage opening at an end face of the roller shell. The passage may be closed by means of a gas-permeable plug element comprised of ceramic material.”

Bearing closure device and method for operating the same
A bearing closure device has a externally threaded ring that can be slid onto a roll journal. One stop close to the roll barrel and one stop away from the roll barrel are provided on the roll journal in order to limit the axial movement of the threaded ring. A ring nut with an internal thread is screwed onto the external thread of the threaded ring. To facilitate safe screwing on and unscrewing of the ring nut and to keep screws pressure-free during the operation of the bearing a pressure ring is mounted between the bearing and the threaded ring in an axially displaceable manner. In addition, a plurality of screws can be screwed into axial threaded bores in the threaded ring in order to press against the pressure ring in the axial direction. Finally, the ring nut can be screwed or adjusted against the pressure ring.
