GEARBOX FOR A WIND TURBINE
A gearbox for a wind turbine, which has at least one first and one second shaft, which are arranged parallel to each other and supported in roller bearings. A preload device for the roller bearings is provided, wherein the preload device generates a preload force between the first and the second shaft and is supported with one end on the shafts in each case.

Magnetically stabilized propshaft bearing system
A magnetically stabilized propshaft bearing system includes a bracket having a bearing receiving zone, an isolator arranged in the bearing receiving zone, and a propshaft bearing arranged in the bearing receiving zone and supported by the isolator. The propshaft bearing is receptive to rotatably support a propshaft for a vehicle. An electromagnet is mounted in the bracket surrounding a portion of the bearing. The electromagnet is selectively activated to shift the propshaft bearing within the bearing receiving zone.
Bearing having a shim between two ring parts
A bearing providing at least two rings able to pivot relative to one another, at least one of the rings including at least two annular ring parts having annular radial surfaces axially opposite each other. The bearing further providing at least one annular shim disposed between the radial surfaces of the annular ring parts and including successive circumferential portions. Each circumferential portion of the shim has a plurality of nicks respectively traversed by axial elements. The nicks of each circumferential portion of the annular shim are shaped and oriented to permit the positioning between the annular ring parts and the removal of each circumferential portion by radial translation.

METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE PRELOAD IN A BEARING ASSEMBLY AND BEARING ASSEMBLY
A method for setting a preload in a bearing assembly, the bearing assembly having at least one rolling-element bearing with at least one bearing inner ring and at least one bearing outer ring, the method including changing the preload in the bearing assembly starting from an initial value and measuring the electrical resistance between the bearing inner ring and the bearing outer ring and terminating the changing of the preload in the bearing assembly in response to a target value for the electrical resistance being reached.
ROLLING BEARING DEVICE FOR TELESCOPIC MASTS AND FORK CARRIAGE FOR FORK LIFT TRUCKS
A device for adjusting a rolling bearing for mutual sliding of mast members for supporting a fork carriage of a fork lift truck includes a threaded coupling between an inner ring of the rolling bearing and a relative support pin, and an actuation member freely rotatable through the support pin and rotatably connected with the inner ring. The actuation member can be maneuvered to rotate the inner ring and vary the axial position of the rolling bearing with respect to the support pin through the threaded coupling.
WORM REDUCTION GEAR
A pair of wedge-shaped pieces are provided in an annular space that is defined between an inner circumferential surface of a holding recess portion and an outer circumferential surface of a bearing holder in two position that are symmetrical with each other with respect to a meshing portion between a worm wheel and worm teeth and an imaginary plane that contains a center axis of a worm in such a way as to fill the annular space. Then, an elastic force is imparted to both the wedge-shaped pieces in a direction in which the pair of wedge-shaped pieces move away from the meshing portion in relation to a circumferential direction.
Support device for bearing
A support device for a bearing that rotatably supports a shaft extending in a first direction includes a case that houses the bearing, and a bracket to which the case is fixed. When the case is fixed to the bracket, a first abutting portion of a case main body is in a state abutting against a first bracket abutting portion of a bracket main body in the first direction, and a second case abutting portion of the case main body is in a state abutting against a second bracket abutting portion of the bracket main body in a second direction that forms a right angle with the first direction. There is a region where the case and the bracket are separated between the abutting locations of these abutting portions.
