Bearing protector
A split bearing protector with a flexible design that adds improved moisture protection to a bearing and can be installed without removing the bearing from the machine in which it is installed.
BEARING ASSEMBLY
A bearing assembly includes a bearing unit configured to support a rotatable component relative to a stationary component which may be a bearing carrier, the bearing unit including a stationary bearing ring and a rotatable bearing ring. The rotatable bearing ring is connectable to the rotatable component and the stationary bearing ring is connectable to the bearing carrier such that they are rotationally fixed. At least part of the bearing unit is not covered by the bearing carrier.
BEARING APPARATUS AND SPACER
A bearing apparatus supports a rotating body with a bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring, and a rolling element. The bearing apparatus includes a power generator including a Peltier element variable in amount of power generation depending on a temperature difference between the inner ring and the outer ring caused in the bearing and an abnormality sensing apparatus that senses abnormality of the bearing based on the amount of power generation by the power generator. Preferably, the abnormality sensing apparatus senses abnormality of the bearing based on any of the amount of power generation by the power generator, a time derivative value of the amount of power generation, and following relation between the amount of power generation and another parameter. The bearing apparatus and a spacer in which abnormality of the bearing can accurately be sensed early are thus provided.
Cover Assembly for Bearing
A bearing cover assembly configured to assemble to a bearing housing in which a rolling element bearing is accommodated. The bearing housing assembly includes an end cap with a sleeve portion that mates to an interior conical surface of the bearing housing with a complementary outer bevel formed on the sleeve portion.
Temperature-robust polymer shroud for roller bearing seal
A temperature-robust polymer shroud for a roller bearing seal includes a shroud body and an inner diameter leg defining respective portions of a single continuous part. The shroud body encircles a rotation axis of the polymer shroud and extends predominantly in directions orthogonal to the rotation axis from an inner diameter to an outer diameter. The inner diameter leg connects to the shroud body at the inner diameter and encircles the rotation axis, wherein, along the entire inner diameter of the shroud body, the inner diameter leg is oriented at an oblique angle to the rotation axis to extend both (a) radially inward from the inner diameter and (b) axially away from the inner diameter along a first direction parallel to the rotation axis. A roller bearing seal includes a seal case, an elastomer lip, and the temperature-robust polymer shroud.
Biostimulator transport system having weldless bearing retainer
A transport system for delivery or retrieval of a biostimulator, such as a leadless cardiac pacemaker, is described. The biostimulator transport system includes a docking cap supported by a bearing within a bearing housing. The bearing allows relative rotation between a torque shaft connected to the docking cap and an outer catheter connected to the bearing housing. The bearing housing and the docking cap include respective bearing retainers that constrain the bearing within the bearing housing without a weld attachment. The weldless retainers of the biostimulator transport system provide a robust mechanical securement of the bearing that is not vulnerable to corrosion. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Bearing support with frangible tabs
A gas turbine engine has: an engine shaft rotatable about a rotation axis; at least two bearings spaced apart from one another along the rotation axis, the at least two bearings having inner races for rotation with the engine shaft, outer races, and rolling elements disposed radially between the inner races and the outer races; a bearing support extending axially along the rotation axis from one of the at least two bearings to the other, the bearing support secured to both of the outer races of the at least two bearings, the bearing support secured to a structural case of the gas turbine engine via frangible tabs.

SUPPORT FOR RECIPRICATING PUMP
A skid for supporting a reciprocating pump assembly, the reciprocating pump assembly including a power end frame assembly having a pair of end plate segments and a plurality of middle plate segments disposed between the end plate segments. The end plate segments each have at least a pair of feet and the middle plate segments each having at least one foot. The skid includes a base and a plurality of pads extending from the base. At least a portion of the plurality of pads correspond to the end plate segment feet and at least another portion of the plurality of pads correspond to the at least one foot of each middle plate segment.
