INSULATING CAP FOR BEARING ASSEMBLY

A bearing assembly is disclosed herein. The bearing assembly includes an outer bearing ring including at least one first connection element. The assembly also includes a cap defining an axial portion and at least one radial portion defining a cavity configured to receive the outer bearing ring. The cap includes at least one second connection element configured to mate with the at least one first connection element. The cap is formed from an electrically insulating material to prevent EDM.

SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR FOOD APPLICATIONS HAVING AN IMPROVED SEAL

Support assembly for movable, rotating or sliding shafts, having a bearing unit, a casing and a cover for fluid sealing an opening of an internal seat of the casing; the cover having an annular coupling portion towards a radially outer lateral surface of the casing, the annular coupling portion being provided radially on the inside with at least one pair of teeth projecting radially towards the inside of the cover and spaced circumferentially from each other; the radially outer lateral surface of the casing being provided with an annular groove for receiving the teeth of the cover, which in turn is provided circumferentially with an alternating plurality of depressions and projections; the annular coupling portion of the cover is provided with a plurality of radially internal projections which engage, in sequence, with the lateral surface of the casing along a circumferential portion without axial grooves and with corresponding depressions in the annular groove of the casing.

Cover assembly for bearing

A bearing cover assembly can be assembled to a bearing housing in which a rolling element bearing is accommodated. The bearing housing assembly includes an annular adapter and an end cap that can be mated together. The annular adapter can have a tapered inner annular surface and can be inserted into the housing bore of the bearing housing. The end cap can have a corresponding outer tapered surface. When the end cap is inserted into the adapter hole defined by the annular adapter, the sliding contact between the tapered inner annular surface and the outer surface radially expands the annular adapter inside the housing bore creating a positive engagement retaining the bearing cover assembly to the bearing housing.

The invention relates to a threaded bearing housing and a side channel blower incorporating the same wherein the threaded bearing housing is installed on the outer casing element of the side channel blower. The bearing housing supports the outer ring of the blower's bearing. The bearing housing location is adjustable radially and along the axial axis of the side channel blower. These adjustments provide a variable positioning of the rotating components of the side channel blower. This adjustment reduces the necessary assembly tolerancing and allows the impeller's blade and the channel between the casing elements in which it rotates to be properly spaced apart for easy and facile installation and efficient operation.

Steering System for a Vehicle

A steering system for a vehicle includes a transmission cover on a steering gear housing. The cover is arranged adjacent to a bearing part. The side surface of the bearing part facing the transmission cover forms a support surface for the transmission cover.

Annular joint surfaces of a lower case of a strut bearing device respectively have case-side projections that project in an axial direction. Shapes A of the case-side projections, seen in an axial direction, continue in a circumferential direction, and vary their position in a radial direction along the circumferential direction. An inner-diameter side seal has a seal-side recess fitted to the case-side projection. An outer-diameter side seal has a seal-side recess fitted to the case-side projection.

Manufacturing method for upper case of strut bearing, and strut bearing

An upper case manufacturing method using an axial draw mold, in molding of an upper case made of a synthetic resin and including an inclined cylindrical portion. A fixed mold is provided with a first half body, and a movable mold is provided with a second half body. The first half body and the second half body abut against each other in an inclined plane. The first half body has a first flat surface at both ends on the inner diameter side of the inclined cylindrical portion in the inclined plane, and the second half body has a second flat surface at both ends on the inner diameter side of the inclined cylindrical portion in the inclined plane. The first flat surface and the second flat surface are flat surfaces that prevent the occurrence of undercutting when the upper case is removed from an injection molding mold.
