Methods and systems for a magnetic motor X-ray assembly
Various methods and systems are provided for an x-ray imaging system. In one example, an x-ray tube of the imaging system includes a rotor with a core forming a continuous unit with at least one of a retention sleeve and a bearing assembly sleeve. The rotor further includes one or more magnets disposed in the core and maintained in place by the retention sleeve.
SYSTEMS FOR A TURBOCHARGER
Various methods and systems are provided for a radial turbocharger. In one example, the turbocharger comprises a turbine case housing a turbine wheel and a compressor case housing a compressor wheel, the turbine case including a vaneless turbine nozzle integrated into the turbine case, a bearing case surrounding a shaft connecting the turbine wheel to the compressor wheel and arranged between the turbine case and compressor case, a plurality of long bolts arranged around a circumference of the turbine case, and a plurality of slots arranged around a circumference of the turbine case, a slot length of each slot extending in a radial direction and adapted to receive a dowel pin having a diameter smaller than the slot length, where each dowel pin, via a corresponding slot, couples the bearing case to the turbine case.
Tilting pad bearing assemblies, and bearing apparatuses and methods of using the same
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to tilting pad bearing assemblies, bearing apparatuses including the tilting pad bearing assemblies, and methods of using the bearing apparatuses. The tilting pad bearing assemblies disclosed herein include a plurality of tilting pads. At least some of the superhard tables exhibit a thickness that is at least about 0.120 inch and/or at least two layers having different wear and/or thermal characteristics.
ELECTRICAL MACHINE
An electrical machine has a stator with a stator body supporting an electrical stator and a rotor. The rotor is supported by bearing including a radial bearing section forming a radial gas bearing and an axial bearing section forming an axial gas bearing, the stator side parts of these bearing sections being a stator side radial bearing part and a stator side axial bearing part that are rigidly connected to one another and together form a stator bearing structure. The stator side radial bearing part is a bushing, and is radially surrounded by a cooling body. The bushing is connected to the cooling body by an elastic support comprising a thermally conducting filler.
BEARING AND POWER GENERATION SYSTEM HAVING SAME
Provided are a bearing and a power generation system including the same. The bearing supporting a shaft system of a power generation system in a radial direction includes a pad disposed on an outer side of the shaft system with respect to the radial direction and including a cooling path through which oil flows. In the bearing and the power generation system including the same, the cooling flow path is formed through the pad so that the oil existing between the pad and the shaft system flows into the cooling flow path to cool the pad. Accordingly, the pad is continuously cooled during the operation of the power generation system, and the temperature of the pad is prevented from rising above the threshold value even if friction occurs between the shaft system and the pad.
INTEGRATED THERMAL PROTECTION FOR AN EXHAUST CASE ASSEMBLY
A gas turbine engine exhaust case assembly comprises: an exhaust case having an axis and defining an annular gas path; a bearing housing coaxially supported within the exhaust case; an exhaust cone coaxial and rearward of the exhaust case; a heat shield joined to the exhaust cone, the heat shield being disposed radially between the exhaust cone and the bearing housing; and a mounting bracket extending from the exhaust case and joining the exhaust case and the exhaust cone together.

Bearing assemblies including thick superhard tables and/or selected exposures, bearing apparatuses, and methods of use
Embodiments of the invention are directed to bearing assemblies configured to effectively provide heat dissipation for bearing elements, bearing apparatuses including such bearing assemblies, and methods of operating such bearing assemblies and apparatuses. In an embodiment, a bearing assembly includes a plurality of superhard bearing elements distributed about an axis. Each superhard bearing element of the plurality of superhard bearing elements has a superhard table including a superhard surface. The bearing assembly includes a support ring structure coupled to the plurality of superhard bearing elements. One or more of the superhard bearing elements includes a superhard table, which may improve heat transfer from such superhard bearing elements.
ENHANCED THERMAL TRANSFER NOZZLE AND SYSTEM
Some embodiments include an x-ray system, comprising: a structure having a hole having an axially extending wall; and a nozzle disposed in the hole; wherein the nozzle and the axially extending wall form a plurality of axially extending helical fluid channels. Some embodiments include an x-ray system formed by shaping tubing to form a plurality of axially extending helical flutes; and forming a plurality of axially extending helical fluid channels by inserting the shaped tubing into a hole in a structure.
Air blower for vehicle
A vehicle air compressor including a shaft provided with an impeller disposed at one side thereof and a runner disposed at the other side thereof, a motor configured to rotate the shaft, a trust bearing which supports the shaft in a longitudinal direction of the shaft and of which a surface is disposed adjacent to a surface of the runner, wherein a cooling hole for cooling air between the trust bearing and the runner is disposed in the trust bearing.
