ROLLING BEARING
A rolling bearing (1) including: an inner ring (2) and an outer ring (3) which are bearing rings; a plurality of rolling elements (4) interposed in a rollable manner between raceway surfaces (2a, 3a) of the bearing rings; and a retainer configured to retain the plurality of rolling elements (4), wherein a nozzle (10) configured to inject a cooling fluid (R) toward the rolling elements (4) is provided to a fixed-side bearing ring which is one of the inner ring (2) and the outer ring (3), with an outlet (10a) side of the nozzle (10) oriented forward in a revolution direction of the rolling elements (4).
Gyroscopic boat roll stabilizer
A gyroscopic roll stabilizer comprises a gimbal having a support frame and enclosure configured to maintain a below-ambient pressure, a flywheel assembly including a flywheel and flywheel shaft, one or more bearings for rotatably mounting the flywheel inside the enclosure, a motor for rotating the flywheel, and bearing cooling system for cooling the bearings supporting the flywheel. The bearing cooling system enables heat generated by the bearings to be transferred through the flywheel shaft to a heat sink disposed within a cavity in the end of the flywheel shaft, or to a liquid coolant circulating within the cavity.
RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR
A balance weight includes a main weight portion extending over a range defined by a circular-arc circumferential edge centered at a rotational shaft hole side and a pair of virtual end surfaces located on the circular-arc circumferential edge on both sides of the rotational shaft hole, a pair of extension weight portions extending from the pair of virtual end surfaces to an opposite circular-arc side of the rotational shaft hole from the circular-arc circumferential edge, the rotational shaft hole provided at the main weight portion so as to be located on a central side of the circular-arc circumferential edge, a crank shaft attachment protrusion, a crank shaft hole provided at the crank shaft attachment protrusion radially eccentrically with respect to the rotational shaft hole, and a pair of spaces formed between positions on both sides of the crank shaft attachment protrusion and the pair of extension weight portions, respectively.
Vacuum pump
A vacuum pump comprises: a ball bearing which supports a rotor; a holding section which elastically holds an outer ring of the ball bearing; and a grease which is filled between the outer ring and the holding section, the grease having a consistency of NLGI No. 1.5 or less.
Sealing device for an oil enclosure in a turbine engine bearing
A sealing device for a turbine engine bearing oil enclosure including a rotor shaft; an annular cover secured to an engine casing and arranged around the rotor shaft to co-operate therewith to define an oil enclosure that is to receive a bearing rotatably supporting the rotor shaft relative to the engine casing; a labyrinth seal mounted on the rotor shaft facing one end of the cover; an annular rim mounted inside the cover; a dynamic annular gasket interposed radially between the rim and the rotor shaft; and a clip for axially blocking the rim inside the cover and including at least one latch passing radially through the rim and being received radially inside a groove formed in the cover, is provided.
SPINDLE-BEARING PROTECTING DEVICE AND MACHINE TOOL EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME
A spindle-bearing protecting device is provided that captures an indication of failure of the spindle bearings of a machine tool and can prolong the time until the main bearing is scorched. A spindle-bearing protecting device for protecting a bearing that supports a spindle to be rotatable, includes: a rotating part provided more to an outer side in an axial direction than the bearing, and having a rotor blade that rotates along with the spindle; a supply part that supplies coolant or lubricant to between the rotor blade and the bearing; a detection unit that detects abnormality of the bearing; and a control unit that controls a supply of coolant or lubricant by way of the supply part and the revolution speed of the spindle, in a case of the detection unit detecting abnormality of the bearing.
Rotation flexure with temperature controlled modal frequency
A flexure bearing includes an inner race, an outer race, and a plurality of substantially planar radially extending blades coupled between the inner and outer race. The blades have a thickness that is thinner than a thickness of the inner and outer races. The inner race, outer race, and blades have substantially the same height. At least one heating element is coupled to the inner race and/or the outer race. The heating element is configured to apply heat to the race that it is coupled to in order to tune the flexure bearing.
Air turbine starter with lubricated bearing assembly
An air starter for starting a turbine engine that includes a housing, a turbine member, a drive shaft, and at least one bearing assembly. The housing can define an interior where the turbine couples to the drive shaft that is rotatably supported by the least one bearing assembly. A lubricant passageway can provide lubrication to the at least one bearing assembly.
Insulating device for a bearing
An insulating device for a bearing mountable within a housing, the bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring with an outer circumferential surface and opposing axial ends and a plurality of rolling elements disposed there between. The insulating device comprises: a first annular part, which is adapted to be in contact to the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring, and a second annular part, which is also adapted to be in contact to the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring. The first and second part form the insulation device which is adapted to contact, in an assembled state of the bearing in the housing, both the outer ring and the housing. The first part is thermally conductive and electrically insulating and the second part is electrically insulating and less thermally conductive than the first part or is not thermally conductive.
BEARING DEVICE
Only an outer spacer (33) is cooled by an outer spacer cooling structure, thereby causing a temperature difference between an inner spacer (32) and the outer spacer (33). According to this temperature difference, an inner ring (37) of a bearing (31) is displaced relatively to an outer ring (38) in a direction in which a preload inside the bearing (31) decreases.
