Telescopic conveyor support assembly
A support assembly for a telescopic conveyor may be provided. The assembly may include at least two spaced apart bearings and a reservoir of hydraulic fluid, the bearings being coupled to the reservoir to impart force to and receive force from the hydraulic fluid. The reservoir may be configured to transmit force received from any one of the bearings to at least one other of the bearings by the hydraulic fluid. The assembly can distribute uneven loads amongst the bearings thereby maintaining contact between the bearings and the conveyor, and reducing wear on the bearings and associated components.

VALVE WITH A BALL BEARING AND EXHAUST LINE COMPRISING SAID VALVE
The valve includes a valve body that inwardly defines a passage for circulation of a fluid, a drive shaft, and a bearing to guide the rotation of the drive shaft. The bearing comprises a chamber surrounding a segment of the drive shaft and a plurality of balls filling the chamber. The balls are free inside the chamber, and the chamber is completely filled with balls. The balls are in contact with the drive shaft along all or part of the segment.

BEARING DESIGN WITH COMBINED ROLLING ELEMENT MATERIAL
A bearing assembly, for example a thrust bearing assembly including first and second rings is provided with alternating high and low modulus rolling elements. The low modulus rolling elements have a greater diameter than the high modulus rolling elements so as to initially bear a relatively greater percentage of applied loads.
Bearing support system and method for a turret on a vessel
A bearing system for a rotating turret mounted on a vessel includes upper radial and axial bearings placed on a stiff bearing support ring. The bearing support ring is isolated from deflections in the vessel's caisson. Through the isolation, the radial and axial bearings are less affected by deflection of the vessel for example due to waves. The bearing support ring is supported vertically by a system of hydraulic cylinders serviced by multiple hydraulic systems for redundancy. The bearing support ring alternatively can be supported by an articulated steel structure.

DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A RELEASABLE CLEARANCE-FREE POSITION OF A ROLLING BEARING AND A CORRESPONDING METHOD
A device for producing a releasable clearance-free position of a rolling bearing, having a rolling bearing which has an outer ring, an inner ring mounted on a shaft and a plurality of rolling elements arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring, and having a tensioning device mounted on the circumference of the rolling bearing outer ring for generating a radial preload which is uniform over the outer circumference of the rolling bearing outer ring between the tensioning device and the rolling bearing outer ring, wherein the tensioning device has an axially adjustable tensioning element which can be brought into a first alignment in which the rolling bearing has play, and which can be brought into a second alignment in which the rolling bearing is free of play. A corresponding method is also described.
Preloading device for a roller screw mechanism guided in rotation
A linear actuator comprises a roller screw mechanism guided in rotation with respect to a structure by two angular-contact ball bearings, the roller screw mechanism comprising rollers interposed between an endless screw and two tapped rings which are joined together in rotation and free in translation. Each tapped ring is secured to an inner ring of a ball bearing. The linear actuator further comprises a single preloading device capable of applying load between two outer rings of the angular-contact ball bearings respectively, thereby simultaneously allowing the loading of the roller screw mechanism and the rotational guidance of the roller screw mechanism with respect to the structure.
