LINEAR GUIDE
20190203766 · 2019-07-04 · ·

A lubricant supply member of a linear guide includes a first recessed part formed above a guide rail, a pair of second recessed parts formed at both left and right side-surface positions of the guide rail, and protrusions slidable on rail side raceway surfaces of the guide rail. A lubricating unit includes a first cylindrical part, arranged in the first recessed part, to allow the first recessed part to move in a vertical direction of the slider, and to press the first recessed part to a widthwise outside of the slider, and a pair of second cylindrical parts, arranged in the pair of second recessed parts, to allow the pair of second recessed parts to move in a width direction of the slider, and to press the pair of second recessed parts in the vertical direction of the slider, respectively.

Low friction gib

A gib includes a metallic substrate having a first face and a second face and an attachment disposed on the metallic substrate. The attachment includes a first functional surface disposed on the first face of the metallic substrate. The first functional surface is configured as a bearing surface. The attachment may be formed of a fabric resin composite material.

ROLLING BEARING APPARATUS

A rolling bearing apparatus includes an axis of rotation, a first machine element, a second machine element, a bearing ring attached to the first machine element and arranged concentrically on the axis of rotation, a set of cylinder rollers and a bypass apparatus. The set of cylinder rollers has a plurality of cylinder rollers and a cage. The set of cylinder rollers are arranged radially between the bearing ring and the second machine element, and directed radially transverse to the axis of rotation. The bypass apparatus forms an electrical connection between the first machine element and the second machine element. The bypass apparatus has an electrically conductive bypass conductor formed from loop-shaped stitched fibers and a holder attached on the bearing ring radially between the bearing ring and the first machine element. The holder is electrically conductively connected to the bypass conductor and holds the bypass conductor.

PROP-SHAFT FOR A VEHICLE

A vehicle, a prop-shaft and a method of reducing noise in a vehicle are provided. The prop-shaft includes a cylindrical shaft having a hollow interior. A liner is positioned within at least a portion of the hollow interior. A first retaining member is disposed adjacent an end of the liner, the first retaining member sized to inhibit movement of the liner in a first direction. A second retaining member is disposed adjacent an opposite end of the liner from the first retaining member, the second retaining member sized to inhibit movement of the liner in a second direction, the second direction being opposite the first direction.

Periscope universal hull packing

An embodiment of an inventive periscope hull packing system includes a sleeve, a first ring, a first spring-loaded hull seal, a second ring, a second spring-loaded hull seal, and a gland. The first ring is below the sleeve. The first spring-loaded hull seal is below the first ring. The second ring is below the first spring-loaded hull seal. The second spring-loaded hull seal is below the second ring. The gland and the second spring-loaded hull seal, which is housed by the gland, are below the second ring. The sleeve and the gland each have, on the inside circumference, a composite lining affording a lubricious surface for contacting the periscope. Each composite lining is composed of a resinous matrix and a filler lubricant (such as particles or short discontinuous fibers of polytetrafluoroethylene). Each spring-loaded hull seal is characterized by an elastomeric shell and an elastomeric O-ring spring for energizing the shell.

Protective cap for partially covering a pre-assembled or fully assembled vehicle component

A protective cap (1, 9, 12) for the partial covering of a pre-fitted or a fully fitted vehicle component (11). The protective cap (1, 9, 12) is made from a biogenic and/or renewable raw material.

LINEAR GUIDE WITH LUBRICATION DEVICE
20170321752 · 2017-11-09 ·

A linear guide with lubrication device includes: a elongate rail; a slide module slidably mounted on the elongate rail and including a slide block and two recirculation members, which are respectively mounted to two end faces of the slide block and include a plurality of recirculation passages, in which at least one of the recirculation members includes a lubricant reservoir and a fixing through hole formed therein such that the lubricant reservoir, the recirculation passage, and the fixing through hole are in communication with each other and the lubricant reservoir receives lubricant filled therein; an application member received in the fixing through hole; a transferring member covering the application member and the transferring member absorbing and transferring lubricant to the application member. Rolling bodies, when moving through the recirculation passage, may contact the application member to have lubricant applied thereto.
