ROTARY COUPLING DEVICE FOR A MULTI-AXIS MANIPULATOR
A multi-axis manipulator in the form of a robotic arm includes a safety disc (41) and safety collar (42) at one or more of the pivoting joints (14, 17, 19, 21, 23) thereof. The disc and collar define a small running clearance in normal use, but make contact in the event of excessive wear or failure of the rotary bearing at the respective joint. An inspection window (48) permits the running clearance to be checked, and the collar may comprise a caliper brake.
ACTION TOY WITH ROLLING ELEMENT FOR MANUAL ACTIVATION
A toy includes a counter-balanced frame including a counter balance coupled to a first end of the counter-balanced frame and a cover coupled to the counter-balanced frame. An axle is coupled to and extends through the counter-balanced frame, and the axle is configured to rotate relative to the counter-balanced frame. A rolling element is configured to rotate relative to the counter-balanced frame about an axis. The rolling element includes a pin extending from an outer surface of the rolling element generally parallel to and offset from the axle. An arm cam is mounted for pivoting movement relative to the counter-balanced frame and adapted to contact the pin of the rolling element, and an arm is connected to the arm cam, the arm being located outside of the cover. Upon rolling of the rolling element the pin causes the arm cam to actuate relative to the cover to produce arm movement.
Rotatable footplate integrated with bearing assembly imbedded in a single-board sport board
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention would provide a rotatable footplate integrated with a corresponding bearing and well assembly that is imbedded into, screwed into, or otherwise, integrally a part of, a single-board sports board, such as a snowboard.
ROTATION RESISTANT LINEAR BEARING ASSEMBLY
A roller bearing assembly configured to guide linear movement of a shaft with a polygonal cross section. The roller bearing assembly includes a housing unit, which may contain a centrally-placed hole for mounting the assembly, and a plurality of cavities on the surface of both ends of the housing unit. The bearing assembly further includes a plurality of axially-displaceable roller bearings placed in one or more sets of pairs in the cavities of the housing. The roller bearings contact the shaft to guide movement axially and to resist torque, and thereby prevent the rotation of the shaft relative to the housing unit.
AUTO-LOCKING BALL JOINT
An auto-locking ball joint includes a first elongate member, a ball, and a second elongate member. The first elongate member includes a receiver disposed at one end. The receiver has an inner surface that defines a well. The ball is rotatable disposed within the well. The ball is formed from a plurality of segments that are moveable relative to one another towards and away from a ball axis. The second elongate member is translatable along the ball axis. In a locked configuration, the outer surface of the ball frictionally engages the inner surface to prevent the ball from rotating within the well. In an unlocked configuration of the ball joint, the ball is rotatable within the well. The second elongate member is depressed along the ball axis to transition the ball joint from locked configuration to the unlocked configuration.
Observation wheel type ride with auxiliary bearings to support the main shaft in case of failure of the main bearings
An observation wheel type ride includes a wheel, multiple passenger cabins supported by the wheel, a drive mechanism for rotating the wheel about its rotational axis, and a support structure that supports the wheel. The wheel furthermore includes two first bearings, provided with a first bearing locking mechanism, and two second bearings, provided with a second bearing locking mechanism. Each bearing locking mechanism can selectively be converted between a locking condition, in which it prevents rotational movement of a bearing inner ring relative to a bearing outer ring, and an unlocking condition, in which it allows for rotational movement of the first bearing inner ring relative to the first bearing outer ring. Providing the second bearings allows for rotational movement of the wheel about the rotational axis of its support axle when the first bearing locking mechanisms are in their locking condition.
Roller-skate bearing seat truing tool
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a roller-skate bearing seat truing tool comprising a plurality of spaced teeth, a first handle, and a second handle. The plurality of spaced teeth may be operable to true up a cylindrical surface of a roller-skate bearing seat and a vertical surface of the roller-skate bearing seat. The first handle may comprise a protrusion longitudinally extending from one end. The second handle may comprise a receptacle at one end configured to slidably receive the protrusion. The plurality of spaced teeth may be disposed about an upper rim of the receptacle, on an upper rim of the first handle, about the protrusion, or both.
Rotating device and jigsaw puzzle board
A rotating device and a jigsaw puzzle table using the rotating device are disclosed in present disclosure. The jigsaw puzzle board includes a board assembly having a body portion and a kickstand coupled with the body portion, and at least one rotating device attached to the kickstand of the board assembly. When the kickstand is in a folded state, at least a part of the rotating device protrudes from a lower surface of the board assembly and contacted with a playing surface. The board assembly is capable of being rotated on the playing place via the rotating device. When the kickstand is in the unfolded state, the body portion and the rotating device are inclined and supported on the playing surface.
DUAL-BEARING REEL
A dual bearing reel includes a reel body, a handle rotatably supported by the reel body, a spool shaft rotatably supported by the reel body, a spool to integrally rotate with the spool shaft, a pinion gear to move between a transmitting position to transmit a rotational force of the handle to the spool shaft and a disengaged position to prevent transmission of the rotational force of the handle to the spool shaft, a clutch control mechanism to move the pinion gear between the transmitting position and the disengaged position, and a bearing rotatably supporting the pinion gear relative to the reel body and to move together with the pinion gear when the pinion gear moves between the transmitting position and the disengaged position.
Ferris wheel installation comprising a guide structure for gondolas having sliding ball joints
A gondola of a Ferris wheel installation is connected to a wheel rim structure of the Ferris wheel by means of a guide structure comprising at least one bearing that is connected to the wheel rim structure by two sliding ball joints which have slide axes that are parallel to one another and spaced apart from one another.
