CONTROL DEVICE AND LEVER PAD FOR THE SAME
A control device for an actuation cable on a bicycle is provided. The control device comprises: a frame for securing the control device to the bicycle; and a lever arm assembly rotatably coupled to the frame and moveable between a first position and a second position, the lever arm assembly comprising: a lever arm rotatable coupled to the frame at a pivot point; a cable lock for fixing the actuation cable to the lever arm, the cable lock demarcating a working segment of the actuation cable from a tail of the actuation cable when the actuation cable is fixed to the lever arm; and a cable catch configured to removably retain at least a portion of the tail of the actuation cable.
CONSOLE FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A component for vehicle interior is disclosed. The component may comprise a base, an armrest configured to move relative to the base from a retracted position to an extended position, a roller coupled to the armrest configured to allow movement of the armrest relative to the base and a rail coupled to the base. The rail may be configured to allow movement of the armrest relative to the base along a non-linear path. The rail may comprise a curved rail, a curved guide, or a curved track. The non-linear path may be aligned with a contour of the base. The non-linear path may reduce a gap between the armrest and the base or provide improved comfort. The roller may comprise a first rolling bearing, a second roller bearing and a third roller bearing. The component may comprise a door configured to selectively cover and uncover a storage compartment.
Bicycle control cable
A bicycle control cable is provided with a central wire, an outer case and a radial protrusion. The central wire includes at least one metallic strand defining a radially outermost surface of the central wire. The outer case surrounds at least a portion of an axial length of the central wire. The outer case has a radially innermost surface. The radial protrusion spirally extends along one of either the radially outermost surface of the central wire or the radially innermost surface of the outer case in a direction intersecting with a center longitudinal axis of the bicycle control cable. The radial protrusion reduces a sliding resistance of the central wire relative to the outer case. The central wire is configured and arranged to slidably move in an axial direction with respect to the center longitudinal axis of the bicycle control cable within the outer case to operate a bicycle component.
Spherical bearing with annular seal having an auxiliary seal leg extending therefrom
A seal for a spherical bearing has an annular body portion having an arcuate cross section extending between a first axial end and a second axial end. The second axial end is positioned radially outward from the first axial end. The seal includes retaining ring positioned proximate the second end. The seal includes a scraper seal extending radially inward from the second end.
BEARING MATERIAL AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A bearing material including a substrate, and a sliding layer overlying the substrate, where the sliding layer includes fillers including wollastonite in a wt % range between 10 and 30%, barium sulfate in a wt % range between 5 and 15%, and pigment in a wt % range between 0.1 and 5%.
BEARING SYSTEM WITH SELF-LUBRICATION FEATURES, SEALS, GROOVES AND SLOTS FOR MAINTENANCE-FREE OPERATION
A maintenance-free bearing system having self-lubricating features, seals, grooves and slots for use in a cushion hitch assembly for a hitch pull scraper vehicle. An interconnected bearing linkage system having two or more horizontal two-axis combined journal and thrust bearings with self-lubricating liners therein, two or more vertical single-axis sleeve bearings with self-lubricating liners therein and one or more vertical thrust bearing with self-lubricating liners therein, that cooperate with one another to accommodate vertical and horizontal angular movement relative to one another.
BOTTOM BRACKET HAVING AN EXPANDABLE RESILIENT RING
A bottom bracket for a bicycle may include a left bearing cup and a right bearing cup, the two bearing cups configured to be threaded together within a bottom bracket shell. Threading the bearing cups together may result in an axial force being applied to a resilient ring disposed on one of the bearing cups. This axial force may cause an outer diameter of the resilient ring to expand against an inner surface of the bottom bracket shell, thereby effectively locking the bottom bracket into the shell.
Cable For Use In A Remote Control Assembly
A cable for use in a remote control assembly includes a liner having a longitudinal axis along a length thereof and defining an interior. The cable includes a core element disposed and moveable within the interior and extending along the length. The cable additionally includes a sheath disposed about the liner along the length. The cable further includes a support layer mounted to and disposed between the liner and the sheath, with the support layer supporting the liner along the length, reinforcing the sheath along the length, reducing movement of the sheath with respect to the liner and vibrations caused during movement of the core element, and minimizing bending of the liner and the sheath about the longitudinal axis. The support layer is comprised of a resin material.
BEARING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE PEDAL DEVICE AND FLANGED BUSHING
Bearing structure of a pedal device, wherein a support member having a cylindrical outer peripheral surface is fixedly attached to a pedal bracket to be substantially horizontal, a boss of a pivot member radially outside the support member via a pair of flanged bushings each made of resin and having a flange portion at one end of a cylindrical portion so the boss turns about an axis, both axial ends of the flanged bushing cylindrical portion closely contact the boss inner peripheral surface; the flanged bushing cylindrical portion have, in intermediate portion, in an axial direction, a narrow portion having both inner and outer peripheral surfaces reduced in diameter so the narrow portion is curved inward in radial direction; the narrow portion smallest inside diameter being smaller than the support member outside diameter having interference; at least the narrow portion smallest diameter portion of elastically closely contact the support member outer peripheral surface.
Angle adjustable bicycle saddle
An angle adjustable bicycle saddle contains a seat post, a cushion, and a locking unit. The seat post includes an inwardly curved groove having multiple protrusions, and the seat post includes multiple troughs. The cushion includes a body and a cap. The body has a curved holder, an arcuate abutting projection, multiple engagement portions, and multiple through holes corresponding to the multiple troughs. The cap is covered on the curved holder of the body so that the curved holder has a hollow portion. The locking unit includes multiple fixing elements and multiple stepped nuts. A respective fixing element is inserted through a respective trough and a respective through hole. A first end of a respective fixing element is adjustably received in a respective trough, and a second end of the respective fixing element is accommodated in the hollow portion of the curved holder.
